Theft Charges

 

Fauzia Ali, 50, of 715 E. Falcon Dr., Arlington Heights, was charged with retail theft. She was taken into custody at 5:55 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15 at 801 Meacham Rd. Police did not disclose what she was alleged to have stolen or its value.

Jesus Carmona, 31, of 449 W. Stevens, Addison, was charged with retail theft. He was taken into custody at 7:40 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15 at 801 Meacham Rd. Police did not disclose what she was alleged to have stolen or its value.

Roxanna De La Torre, 44, of 512 Laurel St., Elgin, was charged with retail theft. She was taken into custody at 7:26 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12 at 801 Meacham Rd. Police did not disclose what she was alleged to have stolen or its value.

 

Identity Theft Charge

 

Christopher Nowak, 49, of 223 Washington Sq., Elk Grove Village, was charged with identity theft. He was taken into custody at 3:55 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12 at his home. Police did not release further details.

 

Disorderly Conduct Charge

 

Michael Welch, 22, of 1020 N. Eagle St., Naperville, was charged with disorderly conduct. He was taken into custody at 4:42 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10 at Wellington Avenue and Commercial Drive.

 

DUI Charges

 

Mark Gawronski, 55, of 802 Pahl Rd., Elk Grove Village, was charged with driving under the influence, transportation of open alcohol by a driver, improper lane usage, driving off the roadway and no proof of valid insurance. He was taken into custody at 10:37 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15 at Alexian Brothers Medical Center, 800 Biesterfield Rd.

Tunusime Bucko, 35, of 801 Victoria Ln., Elk Grove Village, was charged with driving under the influence. She was taken into custody at 7:09 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14 at 20 Biesterfield Rd.

Christopher Smith, 39, of 3511 Timber Creek Ln., Naperville, was charged with aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol without a valid drivers license or proof of insurance. He was taken into custody at 2:44 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 1540 Jarvis Ave.

 

Traffic Charges

 

Lisbeth Gonzalez-Cruz, 21, of 2158 W. 18th St., Chicago, was charged with speeding and driving without a valid license or insurance. She was cited at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18 at Greenleaf Avenue and Elmhurst Road.

Daniel Lupa, 38, of 813 Oakton St., Elk Grove Village, was charged with driving an uninsured vehicle with expired registration and the wrong license plate on the vehicle on a suspended license. He was cited at 7:59 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16 at Westgate Street and Holly Lane.

Melvin Vega, 30, of 8020 Grand Ave., River Grove, was charged with speeding and driving on a suspended license. He was cited at 10:53 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12 at 770 S. Arlington Heights Road.

Jenise Williams, 29, of 3290 Hillcrest, Dubuke, IA, was charged with driving on a suspended license and illegal use of a wireless device (cell phone). She was cited at 1:40 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12 on southbound Busse Road at Jarvis Avenue.

Rogelio Ramirez, 30, of 740 North Neva, Addison, was charged with driving a commercial vehicle on a suspended license without proof of insurance. He was cited at 4:19 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10 on Elmhurst Road north of Higgins Road.

 

Burglaries & Thefts

 

An Apple laptop computer and a backpack, collectively valued at $1,920, were reported stolen from a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta parked in the 700 block of Wellington Avenue sometime between 10:40 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17 and 7:50 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18. The car was reportedly ransacked.

 

Property Damage

 

A landscaping rock was reportedly thrown through the rear window of a 2012 Mercedes Benz E350, shattering it and causing $1,000 in damage, sometime between 10:45 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 15.
