Donate To Annual Palatine Township Toy Drive Through Dec. 20

Palatine Township is collecting toys this holiday season through Dec. 20.

Donations of new, unwrapped toys or gifts for in-need Palatine Township children and young adults for the annual Toy Drive are being accepted through Dec. 20 at the Township Center, 721 S. Quentin Rd., Palatine.

Families who will benefit from this effort include new township residents, as well as those who missed deadlines for other holiday giving programs that are sponsored by Palatine Township.  Donated toys or gifts should be appropriate for infants through young people up to 16 years of age.

“Our township residents continually make a difference in the lives of those who are less fortunate throughout the year, and the holiday season is no exception,” Palatine Township Supervisor Sharon Langlotz-Johnson said. “Our yearly toy drive helps in-need families to enjoy the gift of giving and lets them know that their community cares about them.”

Individuals who would like to donate toys or gifts do not need to sign up in advance. They are asked to drop off donations between normal Township business hours from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Mondays; 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays; and 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturdays.
