A resident told police he purchased four tickets for $900 for a theater production in Chicago via an ad on an Internet website. The purchase occurred at Starbucks in the 2600 block of S. Mannheim Road. When the victim tried to use the tickets, he learned they were counterfeit.

Alberto I. Dela Rosa-Delos Santos, 36, of 1352 E. Someone took a laptop computer and a makeup bag from an unlocked vehicle in the 1200 block of Webster Lane between 10 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5 and 7 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6.

A laptop computer and a tote bag were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 1600 block of Ash Street between 10 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5 and 8:40 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6.

Sunglasses were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 2100 block of Sprucewood Avenue between 1:30 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6.

Electronic devices and a wallet containing credit cards and $20 were taken from a vehicle in the 1300 block of Dennis Place between 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5 and noon Tuesday, Nov. 6.

Construction materials valued at a total of $5,600 were taken from a site in the 2200 block of E. Golf Road before 1 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7.

A bicycle was taken from the 1300 block of E. Oakton Street between 6:30 and 7:55 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8.

Jewelry was taken from a home in the 1600 block of S. Maple Street between 9:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11.

Vandalism Reports

A windshield was broken on a vehicle in the 1300 block of Prairie Avenue between 4:30 and 5:09 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12.

Two tires were slashed on a vehicle in the 8100 block of S. Elmhurst Road between 7 and 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12.
