Elk Grove Blotter: Man Flees Construction Site With $800 Concrete Saw

DUI Charge

 

Christina Griffin, 40, of 239 Park Ln., Roselle, was charged with driving under the influence. She was taken into custody at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, June 20 at the Elk Grove Village police station.

 

Traffic Charges

 

Pablo Sanchez, 28, of 924 Ridge Sq., Elk Grove Village, was charged with speeding, traveling 46 mph in a 30 mph zone, without a valid license. He was cited at 6:10 p.m. Monday, June 24.

Scott Ruggiero, 51, of 547 Vail Ct., Wheeling, was charged with exceeded the speed limit by 15 mph and driving on a suspended license. He was cited at 3:31 p.m. Sunday, June 23 at Howard Street and Busse Road.

Ryszard Pawlowski, 65, of 5021 River Rd., Schiller Park, was charged with driving without a valid license. He was cited at 5:23 p.m. Saturday, June 22 at Arlington Heights and Benton roads.

Jasper Golden, 28, of 6617 Greenwood Ave., Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license and failure to wear a seatbelt. He was cited at 10:45 p.m. Thursday, June 20 at Busse Road and Howard Street.

Jose Dahl, 23, of 1224 Nordic, Bensenville, was charged with driving on a suspended license in a vehicle without registration and without insurance. He was cited at 10:10 p.m. Thursday, June 20 at Howard Street and Busse Road.

Jamie Hays, 25, of 2240 Pine St., Des Plaines, was charged with speeding, traveling 55 mph in a 40 mph zone, avoiding a traffic control device, while driving on a suspended license without proof of insurance in a vehicle without valid registration. He was cited at 8:45 p.m. Sunday, June 16 a Elmhurst Road and Estes Avenue.

 

Burglaries & Thefts

 

An unknown male subject was seen taking a Stihl concrete saw, valued at $800 at 9:07 a.m. Tuesday, June 25 at Wise Road and Nottingham Parkway. Construction workers, doing work in the area at the time, reportedly left the saw on the parkway. The thief was seen running through townhome lots and fleeing in a gray vehicle.

 

Property Damage

 

A large brick was reportedly used to smash both sides of a double-sided slide, located in Clark Park in the 1600 block of Biesterfield Road, sometime between 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 18 and 9 a.m. Wednesday, June 19. Damages were estimated at $1,500.
