Vacation Homes A Great Option In Central Florida

A Florida vacation home offers all the same amenities as a hotel, only with money saving advantages.

Family vacations can be expensive particularly if you stay at a hotel and eat your meals in restaurants. Now there's an alternative that will give you a lot more for much less. It's called a vacation rental home and Central Florida is where you'll find more than 25,000 of them less than an hour's drive from Disney World, SeaWorld and Universal Studios.

Vacation homes offer space, amenities, luxury, and comfort not found at a traditional hotel. The best part is they often cost not more per night than a hotel room while you enjoy numerous money saving advantages. The advantages of staying in a quality vacation home include a fully equipped full-size kitchen, living room, dining room, large family room, screen enclosed private swimming pool, deck, and spa, and multiple large bedrooms (some have 5, 6 or more) and multiple baths. Many homes also feature a fully-equipped game room or home theater and bedrooms decorated just for kids.

Several vacation home rental communities offer resort amenities, such as a clubhouse, fitness center, game room, convenience store, basketball/volleyball/tennis courts and guarded security entrance. All homes are attractively decorated and furnished. The privacy and comfort far surpass the old days of everyone jammed in a hotel room.

One of the best features of a vacation home is the concierge service. Need a baby sitter, they'll find one. Want a pizza, they'll tell you where to call for home delivery. Got a toothache, they'll find you a dentist. Want tickets for a sports event or concert, just give them a call. Need directions to the nearest supermarket, just ask. In short you have a concierge available to you just as you would in a fine hotel.

Rates vary by property and are based on season, size of home, amenities and community in which they are located. Rates in the area can vary from $80/night for a condo up to $449/night for a 7 bedroom pool home. Consider that a 3 bedroom condo can comfortably sleep 8 guests and a 7 bedroom pool home can comfortably sleep up to 16 guests. The savings on a per person basis vs. the number of hotel rooms needed is substantial. It makes them ideal from several families vacationing together or for family reunions.

The Central Florida Vacation Rental Managers Association represents a group of companies that rent vacation homes maintaining a standard of service and selection that sets them above others. "By renting from a one of our members you can be certain that your choice will provide the piece of mind necessary to enjoy all that Central Florida has to offer," says association director Jeff Chase. There is considerable more to see and do in Florida beyond the major theme parks. Polk County attractions including 450 lakes with great fishing, boating, and other water sports. In addition, the area offers dozens of outstanding golf courses. The many great visitor attractions include Fantasy of Flight, Cypress Gardens, Westgate River (dude) Ranch, Bok Tower Gardens, and much more.
