Parks Set Up Scholarship Fund
A scholarship fund has been established in memory of Susannah Kist through the Palatine Park Foundation.
According to Carol Lange, cultural arts coordinator, since Kist's passing on Dec. 4 due to breast cancer, approximately $1,000 has been raised.
This program will assist Palatine Park Dist. residents or groups that need financial assistance to participate in district cultural arts activities.
Kist taught theater, music and craft classes for the park district for 16 years.
