Buffalo Grove OKs Martial Arts Move

Buffalo Grove Martial Arts Academy is moving to 700 Armstrong Dr. after trustees approved special use for a recreation facility in the village's industrial area.

Bert Witte, a martial arts instructor with over 25 years of experience and 14 years of teaching experience, is moving his studio out of the nearby Town Center.

His new site will span 11,250 sq. ft., which includes 2,500 sq. ft. of office and a 9,000 sq. ft. warehouse.  The Town Center location, where he has operated since 2005, spans 3,800 sq. ft.

Classes at the new location for individuals over the age of four will include: karate instruction, self-defense training, fitness kickboxing, and aerobic dance group exercise.
