Four Teens Stabbed At Elmhurst, Dennis

Four men were stabbed during an apparent gang-related attack in Wheeling in the early morning hours of Sunday, Nov. 1.

Police were called to the area of Elmhurst and Dennis roads for a report of a fight and stabbing. Officers located two men at the scene with stab wounds and located two more a short time later. Three 17-year-olds and one 19-year-old were stabbed on their backs, legs, arms, police said. One of the 17-year-olds was also stabbed in the scalp.

Two of them were hospitalized from their injuries.

Gang slogans were yelled before the attack, police said. Officers were unsure how many offenders perpetrated the stabbings.
