Body Found In Arlington Hts. Ruled Homicide

The Cook County Medical Examiner's office Monday ruled the death of a man found on an Arlington Hts. parkway Sunday as a homicide, caused by blunt force trauma.

Arlington Hts. Police Sgt. Tom Seleski said the body of the African American male in his mid-30's was found on the parkway between the sidewalk and the curb on South Goebbert Road at about 3 a.m. Sunday by a passer by who called for an ambulance.

Seleski said Goebbert is a residential street filled with townhomes.

Police were in contact with the Cook County State's Attorney today as they began their investigation.
