Think You Can Sing?

The Buffalo Grove Park District is looking for local residents to join the "BG Singers."

The group is looking for strong singers in the voices of tenor, alto and second soprano, as well as dancers with some vocal background.

Auditions for adults age 18 and older are by appointment only and scheduled for the evening of Monday, June 29 from 8 to 9 p.m. at Alcott Center, 530 Bernard Dr. in Buffalo Grove. 

Singers should bring a piece of sheet music, an accompanist will be provided.

The 17th Annual BG Singers concert will be presented at Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire on Mar. 20-21, 2010. 

If accepted into the BG Singers, the registration fee is $170 and rehearsals will begin in September at Willow Grove School.
