Few Trees To Pickup Following Storm

Arlington Heights Public Works crews worked to remove tree limbs from around the village that fell in the wake of a heavy storm Tuesday night.

Arlington Heights Village Forester Owen Widmayer said about 10 tree limbs fell throughout the village with one blocking a family in their driveway for a short time. A large tree limb fell on the driveway at 2235 Dryden St. in Arlington Heights blocking the household's driveway.

The downed limbs caused no other damage, reported power losses or inconvenience.

Public Works crews had removed the fallen tree limbs from village parkways and the driveway by early Wednesday morning.

Widmayer characterized the fallen trees as minor and called them, "a hiccup."
