No One Hurt In Rollover

Four passengers in a 2003 Jeep Cherokee were uninjured, according to Arlington Heights police, after their car swerved and turned over to avoid a crash.

At approximately 4:12 p.m. Monday, May 5, two adults and two small children from Barrington were traveling northwest on Rand Road in the right lane, according to officer Doug Hajek. When the Cherokee was approaching Dryden Avenue, an unidentified small red vehicle, traveling southeast-bound on Rand made a quick left turn onto Dryden, cutting off the Cherokee, Hajek said. To avoid a collision the driver of the Cherokee lost control of the vehicle, striking the curb, forcing the vehicle onto its side.

Hajek said the red car left the scene immediately and police are looking for anyone with information to contact the police department immediately.
