Deerfield Parkway Closes Wednesday

The Lake County Division of Transportation will close Deerfield Parkway, from Weiland Road to Milwaukee Avenue in Buffalo Grove, for six days starting Wednesday, Apr. 30 at 9 a.m. The road is expected to reopen at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, May 6.

According to county officials, the closure is necessary to allow the Canadian National Railroad to remove the existing concrete crossing, upgrade rails, and then reinstall the existing concrete crossing.

The detour route for the Deerfield Parkway closure will be Weiland Road to Aptakisic Road to Milwaukee Avenue.
