Police said Purta was driving a motorcycle westbound on Hintz Road at 5:57 a.m. and hit the driver's side of an Isuzu Trooper, driven by a 20-year-old female. The Trooper was exiting southbound from Glenn Avenue into the intersection, police said.

Purta was not wearing a helmet, police said, and was not transported to a hospital.

According to police, alcohol does not appear to be a contributing factor to the accident.
