Crowd Heads To State Championships
The boys gymnastics state championships are this weekend at Barrington High School and the area will have quite a large representation.
The team championship will be decided on Friday with events beginning at 6 p.m. Individual championships will then begin Saturday at noon with the preliminaries and finish that evening with the finals, beginning at 7 p.m.
Here's a full listing of Journal-area gymnasts who will compete for individual titles. Note that some athletes will be named multiple times as they qualified in numerous events. They are also listed in order of their score posted in sectionals last week.
