Waycinden Warriors Improve To 7-1 On Season

The 13-year-old Waycinden Warriors travel team extended its winning record to 7-1, topping Niles West 3-0 Tuesday evening.

Ben Froman went the first four innings, giving up no runs and no walks while Jake LoGuidice finished off the last three innings with one hit, no runs and no walks.

Big hits came from Danny Larson, Mike Maize, Kishan Patel, LoGuidice and Shane Joyce.

This weekend will be a good test for the Warriors as they play the Elk Grove Travelers Friday at Lions Park, Crystal Lake on Saturday and Lake Zurich on Sunday.
