Police Blotter

These items are from Rosemont Police Department incident reports. The Rosemont Journal publishes this police blotter every Wednesday.

WOMAN GRABBED

A 44-year-old Franklin Park woman reported being grabbed by a man at Marriott Hotel, 6155 River Rd. She was employed by the hotel performing rounds on the second floor when the man approached her near the elevator at 12:30 p.m. June 27. He said something to her that she did not hear and she asked him to repeat his statement. He then grabbed her arm and pulled her towards his chest while saying, "Come here baby and come to my room." The woman pulled away and the man fled into a stairwell. Police set up a perimeter of the building and searched the hotel but could not locate the man.

DINE AND DASH

Five teenaged boys ate meals valued at a total of $32.49 at Steak N Shake, 10421 Touhy Ave. and fled without paying. The incident occurred at 11:15 p.m. June 28.

BURGLARY REPORTED

A purse containing credit cards, keys, makeup, and $245 cash was taken from an unlocked silver Nissan Pathfinder in the parking lot of Allstate Arena. The burglary occurred between 12:30 and 1:28 p.m. June 28.

VANDALISM REPORTED

Graffiti was painted in a parking garage in the 10200 block of Higgins Road before 11:55 a.m. June 27.
