State Late In Paying Leyden

The state of Illinois is almost $1 million behind in paying Leyden High School Dist. 212 aid payments since the start of the school year. As of this month, Illinois Comptroller Dan Hynes' office had $986,000 in outstanding "vouchers" (bills to be paid) from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) to Dist. 212 that had not been paid dating back to September.
