More than 100 men looking to pay for sex have been cited under Cook County’s new Public Morals Ordinance, bringing in nearly $50,000 to support programs for abused women, Cook County Sheriff Thomas J. Dart announced this week.

Teens Party As Mayor Dedicates New Gym
Before children living near Barry Street in Rosemont headed back to school this week, they were able to enjoy one last hurrah at the Rosemont Recreation Center’s (RRC) picnic last Saturday.
Fifteen people were reportedly caught drinking underage in a Rosemont hotel room last weekend.

The Rosemont-based Cavaliers drum and bugle corps decided this year to get really crazy with their program.

Approximately 100 unionized hotel workers last Thursday walked off the job to picket in front of the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Rosemont demanding what they called a fair contract.

Report Roof Damage In Wake Of Storms, 70 MPH Winds

On Tuesday, Apr. 13, Rosemont resident and Donald E. Stephens Convention Center employee Pete Steinke’s life changed forever when he was diagnosed with leukemia. Since the 45-year-old’s diagnosis, the tight-knit community of Rosemont has rallied to support Steinke as he searches for a bone marrow donor and regains his strength.
