Baird and Warner Closing
After serving as a mainstay in Park Ridge for 50 years, Baird and Warner, 27 N. Northwest Hwy. is closing its real estate office and moving to Devon and Caldwell avenues in Chicago's Edgebrook neighborhood.
According to Cathy Lowe, office manager, the real estate company lost its lease and decided to consolidate offices to cut costs.
Lowe said it was a corporate decision, and the Park Ridge branch was notified of the move on Monday (Jan. 13).
She would not confirm when the move will take place and also said some employees have been given options to relocate to other branches if so desired.
An attempt by the Journal to contact Laura Ellis, corporate representative, for comment was unsuccessful.
