Police Blotter

The following records are from the files of the Park Ridge Police Dept. The Park Ridge Journal publishes its "Police Blotter" every Wednesday:

DAMAGE

CHARGED

Philip Lisiecki, 21, of the 1400 block of West Oakton Street in Park Ridge, was charged with criminal damage to vehicle. Police took him into custody at Dee Road and Northwest Highway at 5 p.m. Oct. 9.

GAS THEFT

REPORTED

A man in a white van pumped gasoline valued at $11.93 at a gas station in the 500 block of West Talcott Road. He fled without paying at 6:32 a.m. Oct. 6.

DRIVING

CHARGES

Samantha F. Williams, 25, of the 2400 block of Virginia Court in Park Ridge, was charged with driving with a suspended driver's license and no seatbelt at 1:55 p.m. Oct. 6. An officer pulled her over in the 500 block of Busse Highway.

Catalino Lopez, 20, of the 2800 block of Marion Street in Northlake, was charged with no valid driver's license, no proof of insurance, and no rear registration plate. Police stopped him at 1:14 a.m. Oct. 7 at Potter Road and Farrell Avenue.

Hector Garcia, 25, of the 2100 block of South Albany Street in Chicago, was charged with no valid driver's license, and improper lane usage. He was stopped at Touhy Avenue and Talcott Road at 1:33 a.m. Oct. 7.

Emilio Sanchez, 23, of the 5000 block of West Byron Avenue in Chicago, was charged with driving with a suspended driver's license, no proof of insurance, and expired registration. An officer stopped him at 9:42 a.m. Oct. 7 at Touhy and Greenwood avenues.

Delfino Munoz, 26, of the 3200 block of South Hoyne Avenue in Chicago, was charged with no valid driver's license, no proof of insurance, and loud muffler. He was pulled over at Greenwood and Touhy avenues at 1:17 a.m. Oct. 8.

BURGLARIES

AND THEFTS

Someone took a book bag containing several books from a 2002 Ford Focus in the 1500 block of South Fairview Avenue between 11 p.m. Oct. 2 and 6 a.m. Oct. 3.

The door lock was damaged and the stereo taken from a 1995 Chevrolet Caprice in the 200 block of North Delphia Avenue between noon Oct. 4 and 8:10 a.m. Oct. 6.

A wallet containing a driver's license, credit cards, and $5 cash was taken from a purse left in a 2001 Chevrolet Impala in the 1500 block of Manor Lane. The burglary occurred between 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Oct. 4. It was not known if the vehicle was locked and police found no signs of forced entry.

Someone took a soccer bag, soccer balls, and change from a 1994 Toyota Camry in the 200 block of Gillick Avenue between 10 p.m. Oct. 6 and 7:30 a.m. Oct. 7.

A 2007 Saturn Vue was ransacked in the 1600 block of South Fairview Avenue at about 2:08 a.m. Oct. 3. A witness saw two men flee from the scene. Nothing appeared taken from the vehicle.

Two men entered a 2002 Mercedes in the 1600 block of South Cumberland Avenue at 12:35 a.m. Oct. 6. When they saw the owner looking at them, they fled in a small silver car.

Someone forced open a door of a home in the 1100 block of South Greenwood Avenue before 6 p.m. Oct. 6 and took two lamps.

Two men took the tailgate and rear window from a 2008 Ford F450 truck in the 1800 block of West Stewart Avenue. They ran from the vehicle and escaped at 12:17 a.m. Oct. 8.

VANDALISM

REPORTS

A person stepped into the roadway in the 2000 block of West Devon Avenue and threw a rock at a 1994 Toyota Celica, damaging the windshield and wiper. The incident occurred at 10 p.m. Oct. 4.

Someone scratched the side of a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire in the 100 block of South Northwest Highway between 5 p.m. Oct. 4 and 1 p.m. Oct. 5.

The side of a 2006 Lexus was keyed and two tires were flattened in the 1100 block of South Dee Road between 7:40 and 9:30 p.m. Oct. 8.

A window was broken at an apartment in the 400 block of Talcott Road between Aug. 4 and 11:33 a.m. Oct. 4.

Two men broke out a window at an office building in the 200 block of West Touhy Avenue at 5:55 p.m. Oct. 8.
