Police Blotter

The following records are from the files of the Park Ridge Police Dept. The Park Ridge Journal publishes its "Police Blotter" every Wednesday:

TRESPASS

CHARGED

Peter J. Muenzer, 45, of the 1400 block of West Touhy Avenue in Park Ridge, was charged with criminal trespass to property. Police took him into custody at 7:24 a.m. May 31 in the 300 block of Touhy.

DRUG

CHARGES

Stephen L. Granlund, 57, of the 6900 block of Fargo Avenue in Niles, was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while under the influence of alcohol. Police stopped him at Northwest Highway and Elm Street at 7:35 p.m. May 27.

DUI

CHARGES

Jordan S. Gorney, 19, of the 9400 block of Bay Colony Drive in Des Plaines, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage, and speeding. Police stopped him at Dempster Street and Luther Drive at 1:09 a.m. May 27.

Mieczyslaw Bezak, 52, of the 52100 block of West School Avenue in Chicago, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, no proof of insurance, improper lane usage, and improper use of signal. An officer pulled him over at Touhy and Western avenues at 12:39 p.m. June 1.

DRIVING

CHARGES

Miguel A. Muniz-Arellano, 32, of the 1800 block of Houland Court in Evanston, was charged with no valid driver's license and loud exhaust. He was pulled over at Northwest Highway and Touhy Avenue at 11:46 p.m. May 27.

Terrance Dunbar, 32, of the 9100 block of Lincoln Drive in Des Plaines, was charged with driving with a revoked driver's license and improper passing at 5:16 p.m. May 29. Police stopped him in the 400 block of South Greenwood Avenue.

Salvador C. Zepeda, 31, of the 1700 block of Stockton Avenue in Des Plaines, was charged with driving with a suspended driver's license and speeding. He was pulled over in the 1100 block of Touhy Avenue at 12:27 a.m. May 30.

Richard A. Dunn, 32, of the 22400 block of Lake Cook Road in Deer Park was charged with driving with a suspended driver's license and no valid registration. An officer stopped him at Hansen Street and Leonard Drive at 9:49 a.m. May 30.

Rodolfo Martinez-Gomez, 26, of the 600 block of Quincy Bridge Lane in Glenview, was charged with no valid driver's license, no proof of insurance, and expired

registration. Police stopped him at 7:31 p.m. May 27 at Potter Road and Dempster Street. He was also served an outstanding warrant from Niles for criminal trespass to property.

STOLEN

VEHICLES

Someone took a 2002 Honda Reflex motorcycle from a garage in the 1300 block of South Clifton Avenue between 11 p.m. May 23 and 12:23 p.m. May 24. A witness told police the suspect loaded the cycle into a black pickup truck.

A bicycle was taken from an unlocked garage in the 500 block of North Home Street between May 21 and May 22.

BURGLARIES

AND THEFTS

A window was broken and a global positioning system taken from a 2004 Saab in the 500 block of Cedar Street between 1 and 5 p.m. May 26.

Someone broke a window and took a global positioning system from a 2003 Volkswagen Beetle in the 700 block of North Parkwood Avenue. The burglary occurred between 9:15 a.m. and 8 p.m. May 26.

A window was broken and a global positioning system taken from a 2004 Lexus 330 in the 100 block of South Home Street between 10:30 p.m. May 24 and 7:40 a.m. May 27.

A home in the 2400 block of West Irwin Street was burglarized between 6:30 p.m. May 23 and 6:29 p.m. May 25. Taken were a computer, two mp3 players, three televisions, a camcorder, a digital camera, jewelry, silver coffee service pieces, cologne, two candle snuffers, a trumpet, a bottle of vodka, a box of candy, a video game system, music equipment, two afghans, and a telephone system.

VANDALISM

REPORTS

A 2002 Volkswagen Passat was scratched in the 2600 block of West Dempster Street between 8 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. May 20.

Someone broke a mirror on a 1998 Pontiac Sunfire in the 900 block of South Prospect Avenue at 9 p.m. May 23 The car owner told police she saw four or five suspects flee the scene.

Someone scratched a 2005 Honda Odyssey in the 1600 block of South Cumberland Avenue between 6 p.m. May 27 and 9:30 a.m. May 29.

A garbage can in the 1000 block of South Fairview Avenue was set afire at 9:24 p.m. May 23. Police found another nearby can smoking, but neither can was damaged.
