    Man Suspected Of Numerous Burglaries Caught

    An Arlington Heights man was arrested on Wednesday, May 7 for his alleged involvement in a string of burglaries that have occurred throughout the area over the last seven months.

    Third Ward Open House Sees Nice Turnout

    Prospect Heights held its annual Mayor's Breakfast last Saturday and named former Ald. Darlene Ahlstedt "Citizen of the Year", but at least one resident wasn't happy with the way it was run.

    Prospect Hts. Fire Captain Paul Elsner has been officially terminated by the Board of Commissioners of the Prospect Hts. Fire Protection District for allegedly making false statements on his application for employment with the fire district.

    A Prospect Heights minister was charged with one count of indecent solicitation of a child, after Chicago police and members of the Illinois Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested the preacher on Tuesday, Apr. 22 in Chicago.

    Shake, rattle and roll. That's what some people in the area were experiencing last week when a 5.2 magnitude earthquake that occurred near the Indiana/Illinois border woke people up from their sleep at around 4:30 a.m. on Friday, Apr. 18.
