Bring Ideas To PH Town Meeting

Prospect Hts. Mayor Dolly Vole is hoping to get a good showing and some good ideas during a town hall meeting scheduled for this Monday at City Hall.

Vole said the meeting should help open lines of communication to residents and help city officials get a better understanding of what the public wants.

"It's showing people we want to go in the right direction," she said. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the lower level of City Hall.

Vole said she will start by giving a brief overview of the city's state. Included in that will be common questions she receives about city finances, stimulus packages, grants and street repair.

A question and answer session will follow where residents are encouraged to voice their ideas for the future of the city.

"I've had quite a few responses, it seems like we'll have a good showing," Vole said. "Hopefully the people who attend are looking to help."
