Police Blotter

The following items are from Prospect Hts. Police Dept. incident reports. The Journal publishes this police blotter every week.

BURGLARY REPORTED

A Cobra GPS unit, wallet containing three credit cards and numerous IDs and change totaling around $250 were stolen from a 1996 Ford Thunderbird at 1221 Forrest Ave. between 12:15 a.m. and 5:15 a.m. June 3.

A Dell laptop computer and briefcase containing a passport and miscellaneous papers were stolen from a 1998 Dodge Durango at 406 W. Olive St. between 7:30 p.m. June 4 and 6:30 a.m. June 5.

Checks were missing from a cash room at the Hilton Northbrook, 2855 N. Milwaukee Ave. between 5 p.m. June 5 and 6 a.m. June 6. A employee noticed two checks made out to the Hilton near a garbage can while walking the premises. He checked the cash room and found pry marks on the door. Most items were kept in a safe but according to police, some checks were left out that night for deposit.
