Police Blotter

The following items are from Prospect Hts. Police Dept. incident reports. The Journal publishes this police blotter every week.

BURGLARY REPORTED

An envelope containing a store's week sales revenue was stolen from a gift shop at 2855 N. Milwaukee Ave. between 1:30 p.m. May 30 and 7 a.m. June 1. The envelope contained $1,078 in cash and $175.52 in credit card bills.

A Cobra radar detector, Nextra GPS, wireless headphones and an ashtray containing change were stolen from a unlocked 2005 Chevrolet Suburban at 304 E. Willow Rd. between 10:30 p.m. May 21 and 4:30 p.m. May 22.

A Tom Tom GPS and two Apple iPods were stolen from a 1992 Oldsmobile at 302 E. Willow Road between 11 p.m. May 21 and 7 a.m. May 22.

DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

The left front tire was damaged and scrapes were found on a 2006 Suzuki Forenza at 303 Gail Ct. between October 2008 and May 24.

THEFT REPORTED

Six Dish Network satellite receivers valued at $800 were stolen from Expert Communications, 33 S. Wolf Road, between December 2008 and January 2009. The store noticed the missing receivers during an inventory check while moving locations.

At least half a cord of hickory wood was stolen from 1279 N. Rand Road between 6 p.m. May 23 and 3:20 p.m. May 24.
