Lucille B. Andrews

Of Elk Grove Village

A Funeral Mass for Lucille B. Andrews (nee Black), 93, was celebrated on Saturday, Jan. 23 at St. Julian Eymard Church. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Evanston. She retired from Loretto Hospital where she was an executive secretary. She was the mother of the late William T. (Karen), the late Mary Lucille Andrews, Kathleen M. (Robert) Bradshaw, James M. (Bonnie) Andrews and Patricia M. (William) Wehmeier; grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of seven.

June W. Berg

Of Arlington Hts.

June W. Berg was born Jan. 20, 1926, in Duluth, Minnesota. She died on Monday, Jan. 18, in Arlington Hts. She is survived by her children, Karin Berg, Janice (Jim) Laskowicz, Julie (Keith) Warner and her three grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Stewart Berg. Funeral services were Friday, Jan. 22 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, Arlington Hts.

Gerald Dalton

Of Niles

A funeral service for Gerald Dalton of Niles, 62, was held Friday, Jan. 15 at St. Mary's Church in Des Plaines. He was born Feb. 2, 1947 in Niles. He passed away Monday, Jan. 11 at Lee Manor Nursing Home in Niles. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; mother, Kathryn; and children, William, James McCoy, Heather McCoy, Gerald, and Brendan. Mr. Dalton was preceded in death by his father, Gerald.

Carl Erickson

Of Buffalo Grove

A funeral service for Carl Erickson of Buffalo Grove, 83, was held Friday, Jan. 22 at Hope Lutheran Church, 1660 Checker Rd., Buffalo Grove. He was born July 30, 1926, in Carbury, N.D. He passed away Monday, Jan. 18 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Hts. He was a veteran of World War II during which he served in the Navy. He was also a founding member of Hope Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife, Marcella; his children, Sheila (David) DCamp, and David (Denise) Erickson; his grandchildren, Timothy and Melissa DCamp, and Devin, D.J., and Dana Erickson; and his brothers, Wallace and Franklin. Mr. Erickson was preceded in death by his siblings, Evelyn, Ruth, and Wayne.

Albert A. Fioravanti

Of Arlington Hts.

Albert A. Fioravanti was born June 18, 1918, in Chicago. He died Jan. 16 at Claremont Living Center in Buffalo Grove. He is survived by his children, Thomas (Kendra) Fioravanti and Patricia (John) Vlajkovic; grandchildren Anthony and Kara Fioravanti and Anna and Alison Vlajkovic. Mr. Fioravanti is preceded in death by his wife, Marie G. Funeral Mass was celebrated Wednesday, Jan. 20 at St. James Church, Arlington Hts. Glueckert Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Lillian E. Fornero

Of Arlington Hts.

Lillian E. Fornero was born Dec. 7, 1922, in Flanagan, Ill. She worked for Parker-Hannifin in Des Plaines for over 35 years. She died Saturday, Jan. 16, at home. She is survived by her children, Michael (Mary Clare) Fornero, Mary (Billy) Overman, Bridget (Robert) Hill, Kathy (Gary) Miller, John Fornero; 13 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and brother, Dean (Sarah) Jensen. She was preceded in death by her husband, George. Funeral Mass was celebrated Wednesday, Jan. 20 at St. Edna Catholic Church, Arlington Hts. Glueckert Funeral Home made the arrangements.

Marcia Frazier

Of Elk Grove Village

A funeral service for Marcia Frazier of Elk Grove Village, 57, was held Monday, Jan. 18 at St. Julian Eymard Catholic Church in Elk Grove Village. She was born Oct. 25, 1952. She passed away Wednesday, Jan. 13 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. She taught pre-school at the Elk Grove Park District for 22 years and she was coordinator of the Sunday kindergarten program at St. Julian for three years. She is survived by her husband, Richard; her children, Sara, Ken, and Emma; her mother, Bernice Kryda; and siblings, John Krydam Mary Ellen Breen, Michael Kryda, Mark Kryda, and Margaret Kryda.

Mildred E. Hieber

Of Arlington Hts.

A funeral service for Mildred E. Hieber, 92, of Arlington Hts., was held Jan. 12 in Lutheran Home & Service, Arlington Hts. Interment was in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements were by Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd. She died Jan. 9. Surviving are siblings Rita Hieber, Loretta (the late Wally) Conrad, Nora (the late Marsh) Schiewe.

John K. Ideboen

Of Mt. Prospect

John K. Ideboen was born June 16, 1920, in Norway. He had been a resident of Mt. Prospect since 1960 and was a retired mechanical engineer at Colonial Carbon Co. in Des Plaines. He died Jan. 14 at Northwest Community Health Care. He was the husband of Elsa; father of John R. (Renae) Ideboen and Susan (Greg) Adlesick; grandfather of three. Funeral services were held Jan. 16 at Northwest Covenant Church, Mt. Prospect. Interment was in Memory Gardens.

Barbara L. Lawrenz

Of Des Plaines

Funeral services for Barbara L. Lawrenz were held on Jan. 23, at G. L. Hills Funeral Home, Des Plaines. Interment was in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Hts. She was born Dec. 1, 1948, in Chicago and died Jan. 17. She was employed by Centel, beginning as an operator and became business office manager for the area operation. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Lenore Lawson, wife of David; stepmother of Rebecca (Matt) Alban and Erin (Gant), Grismer; step grandmother of Emerson, Vivienne and Gage and sister of Edward (Bonnie) Patrick (Cindy) and Madelyn (Douglas) Munz.

Michael T. Lerman

Of Mt. Prospect

Michael T. Lerman, 69, of Mt. Prospect, was born Aug. 7, 1940, in Chicago. He was a sales counselor at Westlawn Cemetery and active with Boy Scout Troup 23 and the Mt. Prospect Lions Club. He died Jan. 12. He was the husband of Kathleen; father of Lee (Wendy) Lerman, Andy (Jennifer) Lerman and Becky (Luke) Zajac; grandfather of seven; brother of Gerald Lerman. Funeral service was held Friday, Jan. 15 at the chapel at Westlawn Cemetery, Chicago.

Michael A. Manzella

Of Arlington Hts.

Michael A. Manzella, 43, of Arlington Hts., was born Jan. 22, 1966, in Chicago and died Jan. 6. He was an avid bowler and golfer. He was the father of Meghan and Jessica; son of Lawrence and Beverly Manzella; brother of Nicholas; grandson of Dorothy Jastper and Agnes Manzella; former husband of Elizabeth Guyer. Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Cecilia Church, Mt. Prospect. Interment at St. Adalbert Cemetery.

Nancy K. MaGill, Ph.D.

Of Des Plaines

A funeral Mass for Nancy K. MaGill, Ph.D., 58, was celebrated Friday, Jan. 15, at St. Emily Catholic Church, Mt. Prospect. Interment was private in St. Peter Cemetery, Skokie. She was born June 7, 1951, in Chicago and died Thursday, Jan. 7, at Lutheran General Hospital. She is survived by her father, Robert MaGill; her brother, Robert (Suzie) MaGill and her daughter, Courtney Wiles. She was an education professor at Loyola University Chicago and program director of Our American Voice for the Barat Education Foundation.

James T. McCarthy

Of Palatine

A memorial Mass for James T. McCarthy, 81, was held Monday, Jan. 18, at St. Thomas of Villanova Church. He was born Aug. 22, 1928, in Evanston and died Jan. 13. Mr. McCarthy and his wife, Marge, were founding members of St. Thomas of Villanova Church. He the father of Tim (Mary), Eileen, Brian (Shari) Colleen, Martin (Missy) and the late Jerald; grandfather of 10; brother of Martin (Jeanne), Robert McCarthy.

Maria Pinas

Of Des Plaines

Maria Pinas, (nee Bazyli), 86, of Des Plaines, died on Jan. 19. Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 23 at Oehler Funeral Home and St. Zachary Church, Des Plaines. She was the wife of the  late Antoni; mother of Janinia (John) Kasiarz, Josie Kubon, Zdzislaw (Grace) Pinas and Lillian (Anthony) Nowak; grandmother of seven; great-grandmother of two. Interment was at St. Adalbert Cemetery.

Mary Rogowska

Of Niles

A funeral service for Mary Rogowska of Niles, 94, was held Saturday, Jan. 16 at St. John Brebeuf in Niles. She was born Mar. 12, 1915. She passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12 at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. She is survived by her husband, Stanislaw Rogowski; her daughter, Henryka (Ronald) Hobbs; and brothers, Franciszek  and Szczepan Korytkowski.
