Rose K. Bialek

Of Des Plaines

Rose K. Bialek, 94, of Des Plaines, died Monday, June 1 at Oakton Pavilion Nursing Home. A funeral service was held Monday, June 8 at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home and at Our Lady of Ransom Church in Niles. Interment was at St. Adalbert Cemetery. Ms. Bialek was born Nov. 5, 1914 in Chicago and was a cashier for a telephone company before retirement. She is survived by her daughter, Alexandra (Norman) Kozlowski; son, William (Wendy) Bialek; daughter, Kathryn (Walter) Vitale and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Lynnette T. Bostwick

Of Arlington Hts.

Lynnette T. Bostwick died May 29 at her home in Arlington Hts. She was born Oct. 30, 1942 and was self-employed as a nail technician for a local beauty salon before retiring in 2007. Services and interment were private. Survivors include her husband, David P. Bostwick; her children, Al Milbratz, Anthony Milbratz, Kathy Bostwick, Anna (Brian) Anderson; her grandchildren, Connie, Alex, and P.J. Milbratz, and Alexandria, Christopher, and Charlotte Anderson and her siblings Donna (George) Baumon, Maureen Engh, Kimberly Schroeder, Leonard (Kaitlin) Schroeder, Sarah Nowak, and Danny Schroeder.

Jeannette R. DeCaluwe

Of Mt. Prospect

Jeannette R. DeCaluwe, (nee Graham), 81, died June 1 in her home. She was the wife of Richard J.; mother of Joseph, Richard (Jane), Kate (Marty) Porretta, Pat (Ed) Feldheim, Kenny, Kevin (Patti), Peter (Dede) and the late Terry and the late Denny DeCaluwe; grandmother of 16 and great grandmother of 3. She was born on Aug. 30, 1927 in Los Angeles, California. Her funeral was Thursday, June 4 at Friedrichs Funeral Home in Mt. Prospect with Mass at St. Emily Church. Interment was at All Saints Cemetery.

Thomas E. Dwornick

Of Palatine

Thomas E. Dwornick, 79, of Palatine, died May 18 at Manor Care of Rolling Meadows. Born Sept. 18, 1929 in McKeesport, Pa., Mr. Dwornick was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the Army. He was the husband of the late Mary Lou; father of Dianne (Mike) Rummel and Donna (Bruce) Campbell; grandfather of Nathan and Julianna Rummel; Michael, Kellie and Makenzie Campbell; brother of Ray Dwornick, Dolores Kolodziej and Lorraine Jesionowski. A memorial service was held Friday, May 22 at Meadows Funeral Home.

Judith M. Gable

Judith M. Gable, (nee Fisiorek), 61, of Des Plaines, died on May 30. She was the wife of John Gable; mother of John F. (Maggie) Gable and Bethany (Nick) King; sister of Nancy (Ron) Schneider and Joe Fisiorek; aunt of Willow Schneider, Bob (Rita) Janke, Jon (Valerie) Janke, Angel Wilder, Alicia Fisiorek, Andrea Fisiorek and Joe Fisiorek, Jr. Services were held Friday, June 5 in Des Plaines. Entombment will be in All Saints Cemetery.

Doris L. Gruber

Of Arlington Hts.

Doris L. Gruber (nee Hoyt), 83, died Saturday, May 30 in her home. Born Dec. 14, 1925, in Chicago, she was a long time member of the Windy City Winnies. Services were held Thursday, June 4 at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home in Arlington Hts. She was the wife of the late Joseph F.; sister of the late Charmaine Ligocki, the late Maybelle Budtke and Richard Hoyt; aunt of Debbie Tannheimer, Dennis Ligocki, Stephen Hoyt, Chuck Seager and Danny Ligocki; and sister-in-law of Annie Schmid.

Theodore C. Guenther

Of Mt. Prospect

Theodore C. Guenther, 89, passed away Friday, May 29. Private services will be held. Mr. Guenther was born May 25, 1920, in Arlington Hts. An Army veteran, he served in the Counter Intelligence Corps. He was the husband of the late Evelyn Guenther; father of Karen (Bill) Beltz; Todd Guenther; Ellen (Wayne) Shumaker and grandfather of Ashley, Justin, Theo, Greg, Jenna and Sara.

Ethelyn F. Isbrandt

Of Prospect Hts.

A funeral Mass for Ethelyn F. Isbrandt, 76, of Prospect Hts., was celebrated on Wednesday, June 3, at St. Alphonsus Church in Prospect Hts. Interment was private. Born Oct. 22, 1932, she died Sunday, May 31, at Rainbow Hospice Ark, Park Ridge. She was the wife of the late Marvin J.; companion of Leo Machun; mother of Joseph (Betsy), James (Cynthia), John (Diane) and Steven; grandmother of Brianna, Erik and Alyssa; sister of Constance (Angelo) Chiarelli; many nieces and nephews.

Marie G. Jeuck

Of Mt. Prospect

Marie G. Jeuck, 92, of Mt. Prospect, died on Saturday, May 30. She was born July 16, 1916 in Evanston. She was the wife of the late Philip R. Jeuck Jr.; mother of Susan J. (Thomas) Waldbuesser and the late Philip R. (Suzanne P.) Jeuck III; grandmother of Melissa F. (Hady Abou El Kheir) Jeuck and Steven P. Jeuck and great-grandmother of Zain Abou El Kheir. A funeral Mass was held Wednesday, June 1 at St. Raymond de Penafort Church in Mt. Prospect. Interment will be private in All Saints Cemetery.

Harry Leonard Leitza

Of Des Plaines

Harry Leonard Leitza was born Aug. 2, 1918, in Chicago, and passed away Friday, May 29, at his home. Mr. Leitza was a World War II Army veteran. He was the husband of Alicia; father of Janice, Roger (Darla), Kenny (Karen), Robert (Cindy) and Norbert (Laura) Leitza; stepfather of Louis (Beatrice) and Randy (Velma) Stille; grandfather of eight; and great-grandfather of eight. A cemetery service with military honors was held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood on Wednesday, June 3.

Mary F. Nichols

Of Arlington Hts.

Mary F. Nichols was born on Sept. 9, 1929 in North Salem, Ind. She passed away on May 16 in Arlington Hts. She is survived by her twin sister, Harriet (David) Kluxdal; her nieces, Mary Jo (James) Nathan, Carolyn (Todd) Renner and Beverly (Bruce) Kramer; and her six great-nephews. Services will be planned for a later date. Interment was at Fairview Cemetery, North Salem, Ind.

Maryanne T. O'Sullivan

Of Rolling Meadows

Maryanne T. O'Sullivan, (nee Schaefer), 74, of Rolling Meadows, died May 21 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Hts. She was born Oct. 26, 1934 in Chicago. She was the wife of the late Eugene; mother of Eugene M. (Janet), James P. (Michelle) and Richard (Kimberly) O'Sullivan. She is also survived by her grandchildren and a brother. A Mass was held on Tuesday at St. Colette Church. Interment was at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.

Lorraine Pump, 91, of Des Plaines, died Thursday, May 21. Her funeral service was held Wednesday, May 27, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Des Plaines. Interment was in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Skokie. She was the wife of the late George; mother of Gerald (Lois) and Roger Pump; grandmother of David (Pei-Ming) Pump, Megan (Mark) Robinson, Brandon (Annalisa) Pump, Sarah Pump and Julie (Jeff) Wood; great-grandmother of Samuel and Emily Robinson and sister of Melvin Engel.

Mary Beth Ross

Of Arlington Hts.

A memorial Mass for Mary Beth Ross, 50, of Calabasas, California, formerly of Arlington Hts., was held Saturday, June 6, in the St. Viator High School Alumni Memorial Chapel, Arlington Hts. Interment will be private. She was born Nov. 12, 1958, in Centralia, Ill., and died Thursday, May 21 at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Patrick J. Ross; mother of Brian, Timothy, Kevin and Kelly; daughter of William R. and Dolores Harris; sister of Bill (Kathy) Harris, Dave (Pam) Harris, Doug (Jura) Harris, Ruthanne (Louis) Carosio, Martha (Nikki Korval) Harris, John Harris, Carrie (Dan) Mannix and Patrick (Fiona) Harris; aunt of many.
