Gladys I. Bonderson was born June 17, 1929 in Arlington Hts. to George and Florence Davidsen. She passed away Mar. 9 in Wauconda. She is survived by her sons, Jay (Carm) Bondeson of Lake Zurich and Mark (Nancy) Bondeson of Boise, ID; her grandsons, Justin (Jordan) and Kyle Bondeson and Michael Dietrich and her great-grandson Avery. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Jean (Ed) Nestor. Memorial visitation was Saturday, Apr. 4. A memorial service followed at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., Arlington Hts. Interment private.
Robert P. Brownlow
Of Niles
Robert P. Brownlow, 80, of Niles, died Friday, Mar. 27 at home. He was born Aug. 5, 1928, the son of Philip and Dagmar Brownlow. He was a teacher for the Chicago Board of Education and an Army veteran of the Korean War. Visitation was at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home on Monday, Mar. 30. Services were held at the funeral home and St. John Brebeuf Church on Tuesday, Mar. 31. Burial at St. Adalbert Cemetery. He is survived by his son, Robert P. (Diane) Brownlow II; grandchild Bobby Brownlow; sister-in-law, Joan (late John) Francen, Jeanette (late Bill) Ertl.
Gladys Marie Buchholz
Of Des Plaines
Gladys Marie Buchholz (nee Rheingruber), 84, of Des Plaines, died Mar. 23 in Des Plaines. She was born Dec. 26, 1924 in River Forest. Mrs. Buchholz was a City of Des Plaines employee in the accounting dept. for 33 years. She is survived by her husband, Arthur; daughter, Patricia (John) Burke; grandchildren, Rusty (Cheryl) Burke; Bradley Burke, Megan Burke, Michele Dickson; great grandchildren Paul, John, Sydney, Tyler, Deja, Avy, William and Christopher. She is preceded in death by brothers Raymond Rheingruber and William Rheingraber. Visitation was Thursday, Mar. 26, at G.L. Hills Funeral Home in Des Plaines. Services were Friday, Mar. 27. Interment at Town of Maine Cemetery.
Alyce M. Earl
Of Elk Grove Village
A memorial service for Alyce Marlene Earl, 73, a 49-year resident of Elk Grove Village, was held Apr. 3 in Grove Memorial Chapel. Interment followed in Carterville, Illinois, where she grew up. A native of Flint, Mich., she died Apr. 1 in her home. A graduate of Southern Illinois University, she taught high school English in two downstate communities before moving to Elk Grove Village in 1964. Surviving are her husband, Gene Earl; children David and Dana; and grandchildren Jenna, Jaime, and Jack Earl, and Eric Meza.
Edwin Earle
Of Park Ridge
Edwin Earle, 81, died Mar. 26 at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago. He was a resident of Park Ridge and a U.S. Navy World War II veteran. Son of the late Harry and Lillian; loving friend of Beverly Giovenco; cousin of Doris (John) Ruchalski and the late Arlene (the late David) Plaza. He is also survived by seven second cousins. Former husband of Darlene Claussen. Earle is a member of Schurz High School Hall of Fame, is a graduate of Loyola University and member of its Basketball Hall of Fame. He was a professional and semi-pro basketball player and was a longtime member of the Des Plaines Elks Club. Memorial visitation was Friday, Apr. 3 at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home in Park Ridge. Family and friends met Saturday, Apr. 4 for a memorial mass at St. Juliana Church in Chicago. Interment was private.
Frank Elter

Frank Elter, 95, of Niles, died Friday, Mar. 20 at home. He was born Aug. 6, 1913 in Yugoslavia. Visitation took place at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home on Friday, Mar. 27. Services were held at the funeral home and St. John Brebeuf Church on Saturday, Mar. 28. Burial in Maryhill Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wendel and Magdalena Elter and wife, Elisabeth Elter. He is survived by his daughter, Mary (Peter) Letscher; grandchildren, Elisabeth (John) Meyer; John (Patti) Letscher, Katherine (Jeremy) Walsh; great grandchildren, Zachary, Conery, John, Peter, Emily and Sarah.
Audrey Erickson

Audrey Erickson, of Niles, died on Tuesday, Mar. 24 at home. Visitation took place at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home on Friday, Mar. 27. A service was held at the funeral home on the same day. Burial in Ridgewood Cemetery. She was born Oct. 29, 1928 in Chicago and was a homemaker. Mrs. Erickson was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Els Ruthenbeck; husband, Robert Erickson and sister Lois Bromberger. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Anderson; son, Richard (Janice) Erickson, David Erickson; daughters, Terri (Kenny) Hancock, Susan (George) Miller and Nancy Anderson; grandchildren, Bobby, Brian, Chelsy, Deric and Traci; great-grandchildren, Damien, Brandon and Faith; aunt and great aunt to many.

Maureen Ann Herrick, (nee O'Malley), 78, of Elk Grove Village, died Mar. 29. She was born in Wisconsin. Mother of Kenneth, Thomas (Susan), Richard (Kelly) Herrick, Ellen (Tom) Walsh, Ann Barberini and Donna (Dave) Romero; grandmother of Amanda, Jason, Cory, Michael, Kaely, Tommy, Michael, Nicholas, Kelli, Dana, William, Shannon, Teagan and Leary; sister of Ken O'Malley, Rose Zamzes, Tom Dempsey, the late James and Larry O'Malley and the late Muriel Fochs; former wife of the late Donald Herrick. Visitation was Saturday, Apr. 4, with a memorial service at Grove Memorial Chapel in Elk Grove Village.
Ruth M. Hoffie

Visitation for Ruth M. Hoffie (nee Hasemann) took place Mar. 31 at the Lutheran Home Chapel, Arlington Hts. Burial took place at St. John's Cemetery following the service. Mrs. Hoffie died peacefully Friday, Mar. 20. She was the wife of the late Ralph L. Hoffie, a former Arlington Hts. village trustee; mother of Carol (Don) Bostrom; grandmother of Mark, David (Laura) and John (Kathleen); great grandmother of Jonathan, Paul, Jordan, Daniel, Andrew, Matthew, Mark and Julia. Born in Long Grove, raised in the farm tradition, she was the youngest of eight siblings and a favorite aunt of 16 nieces and nephews. Red Oaks, Long Grove, employed her for many years as assistant buyer and floor manager.
William C. Hugo

William C. Hugo, 89, of Mt. Prospect passed away peacefully on Apr. 5 in the home he built in 1952. He was born Feb. 18, 1920 in Wheeling. He served as a medic during World War II. He built and remodeled homes as a career. He loved golf, bowling, boating and playing cards. Father of William C. (Donna Iovinelli) Hugo. Dear friend of Bette Cogan. Brother of the late Gene (Mickie) Hugo, the late Ruth (Walter) Skidd and the late Esther Hugo. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Visitation was held Tuesday, Apr. 7, at Oehler Funeral Home in Des Plaines. Services were held Wednesday, Apr. 8 at noon in the chapel.
Dorothy J. Johnson

Memorial visitation for Dorothy J. Johnson, 84, of Palatine, and former long-time resident of Rolling Meadows, was held Thursday, Apr. 2 at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home in Palatine. She was born Oct. 8, 1924, was a former preschool teacher with the Rolling Meadows Park District and also worked as a teacher's assistant at Kirk Center in Palatine. Mrs. Johnson passed away Sunday, Mar. 29 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Hts. Interment will be private. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her daughter, Dorothy J. (Bernie) Ogurek and sister, Helen Bowles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy C. Johnson.

Lucienne Kaiser (nee Maillefer), 86, of Arlington Hts. passed away from congestive heart failure. She was the wife of Ewald Kaiser, stepmother of Fred Kaiser (Bonnie), James Kaiser (Colleen), Mary Kersemeier (Donald), Lois Hartkopf (Gerald), and Carol Kaiser; step-grandmother to Rebecca Jacobs (Charles), Todd (Susan), and Carrie; Bradley, Matthew, Bryan (Teresa), Hillary and Katie; Carolyn Muir (Cameron), Susan Gronwick (Eric) and Craig Kersemeier (Shannon); Jeffrey (Sheila), Kurt, Chad and Colin Hartkopf; stepgreat-grandmother to Ellie and Aaron (Kaiser), Caleb, Carina, and Cassidy (Muir); Jillian, Ryan, Jessica, and Jacob (Gronwick); Hannah, Brett, and Molly (Kersemeier); as well as many nieces and nephews. She was born Aug. 19, 1922, in Ballaigues, Switzerland. A funeral will be held Wednesday, Apr. 8 in St. John's Chapel at Luther Village in Arlington Hts. with a visitation at 9:30 a.m., followed by the service at 11 a.m. Interment will be Thursday, Apr. 9 at 11 a.m. for family members, at Fairview Memorial Park in Northlake.
Daniel P. Keller

A funeral service for Daniel P. (Dano) Keller, 49, of Mt. Prospect, was held Apr. 4 in Friedrichs Funeral Home. Burial followed in All Saints Cemetery. He died Apr. 1 in his home. Surviving are his widow, Hallee Jr.; children Daniel P. and Corey; his mother, Maryann Freeman; and stepmother Dot Keller.
Frances A. Liddell
Of Wheeling
Frances A. Liddell was born Sept. 6, 1933 in Chicago to James and Gertrude (nee Hybke) Liddell. She died Mar. 30 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Hts. Ms. Liddell was executive secretary to the president of Marstellar Advertising Agency. After retirement, she moved from Chicago to Wheeling. She worked part-time at the Indian Trails Public Library in Wheeling. She is survived by her brother, James W. (Suzanne) Liddell of Williamsburg, VA, her nephew, Robin W. (Susan) Liddell of Lake Zurich, her niece, Joanne (David) Rotert of Columbia, MO and by her great nieces and nephews Collier, Evan, Rachel Liddell and Kellen and Casey Rotert. She was preceded in death by her parents.
James P. Minor
Of Rolling Meadows
James P. Minor, 66, of Rolling Meadows died Mar. 29 at Mooreland Memorial Hospital in Eden, NC. He was born Apr. 20, 1942 in Evanston. He worked as a painting contractor for many years. Mr. Minor was the husband of Suzanne; father of Shirley (Paul) Slomkowski; Sheila (Todd) Carlson and Jay Minor. He was the grandfather of 10. Brother of Thomas and Robert (Linda) Minor. Memorial visitation is scheduled for Friday, Apr. 24, 4 to 8 p.m. at Meadows Funeral Home in Rolling Meadows. Memorial mass is Saturday, Apr. 25, 10 a.m., at St. Colette Church, 3900 Meadow Dr., Rolling Meadows.
