    LILLIAN A. ANDERS

    Of Arlington Heights

    A funeral service for Lillian A. Anders, 79, of Arlington Heights, took place on Friday, Mar. 2 at Glueckert Funeral Home in Arlington Heights. Visitation was held on Thursday, Mar. 1 at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Memory Gardens. Ms. Anders was born on Sept. 10, 1927 in Chicago. She died on Feb. 26, 2007 in Arlington Heights. Ms. Anders is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Ann Komorous. She is survived by her husband Edward and her son Dana. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Cancer Society, 1114 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004.

    RICHARD H. BECKER

    of Rolling Meadows

    Richard H. Becker, formerly of Des Plaines, died in his home Wednesday, Feb. 28. He was 75. Funeral services were held Saturday, Mar. 3 at Meadows Funeral Home in Rolling Meadows. Visitation was held the day before at the funeral home. Becker was born May, 20, 1931 in Chicago to the late Henry and Lolita Becker. He worked for Illinois Tool Works, Fastex Division, for over 33 years. He is survived by his wife Nancy A. nee Burke who he married in 1952; children Diane France and Michael R. Becker; grandchild Tiffany France; sisters-in-law Joyce (late Errol) Brown, Patricia (George) Pradel, Mary (Tom) Barbera, and brother-in-law Ted (late Shirley) Taillon. He was preceded in death by brother-in-law Raymond (late Sheila) Burke. Internment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights.

    ALGOT BREMER

    Of Des Plaines

    A funeral service for Algot H. Bremer, 100, took place on Saturday, Mar. 3, at G.L. Hills Funeral Home. Mr. Bremer was born on Dec. 16, 1906 in Lancaster, Minnesota. He died on Wednesday, Feb. 28. He worked as a lumber truck driver. Mr. Bremer was survived by his children June (late Rudy) Behnke and Robert (Maudie), sister Alice (Leonard) Bengston, and cherished friend Al Kroll. He was preceded in death by his wife Cecelia Bremer, and siblings Ebba, Mable, and Helge. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in his name are appreciated.

    NORMA R. CESAROTTI

    Of Niles

    A funeral service for Norma R. Cesarotti 86, was held Friday, Mar. 2, at St. Benedict Home in Niles. Visitation was held the day before at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home in Niles. Ms. Cesarotti was born on June 26, 1920 in Chicago. She died at Resurrection Medical Center Monday, Feb. 26. Ms. Cesarotti worked as an office administrator for Crain Packing. She is survived by her children Charles (Judith) and Raymond (Phyllis) Giovannelli; grandchildren Laura (Jerry) Kloberdanz, Scott (Mary) Giovannelli, Rochelle (Rich) Fallon, Christina Giovannelli and Nick Giovannelli; great grandchildren Tony, Joe, Michael, Dominic, Alisa, Max and Macy. Ms. Cesarotti was preceded in death by her husband Harry; mother Theresa (nee Cesarotti) Porfirio and father Porfirio Porfiri. The interment was held at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mercy Home For Boys and Girls.

    FRANCES M. CLARK

    Of Park Ridge

    A funeral mass for Frances M. Clark, a resident of Park Ridge, was celebrated Mar. 5 at St. Bartholomew Church, Niles. Burial was in Maryhill Cemetery. Arrangements were by Skaja Terrace Funeral Home, Niles. A native of Chicago, she was 94 years old. She died Feb. 28 in Glenview Terrace Nursing Home. She was a homemaker. Widow of the late Charles R. Clark, she is survived by a daughter, Margaret (Leonard) Stancy of Park Ridge; sons Charles (Nina), Thomas (Lucille), William (Terri), and Lawrence; sister Ceil Nitschneider; and sister-in-law Donna Clark.

    DOLORES M. CUTTLE

    Of Rolling Meadows

    A funeral mass for Dolores M. Cuttle, 83, a long-time Rolling Meadows resident, was celebrated Wednesday in Our Lady of the Wayside Church, Arlington Hts. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Palatine. Arrangements are by Meadows Funeral Home. A native of Chicago and a graduate of Calumet High School in 1941, she died Mar. 2 in her home. She was the widow of Edward Cuttle Sr., to whom she was married for 61 years before his death. Surviving are her children, Judith (Daniel) Rumowski, Edward Jr., (Carolyn), Robert, and Mary (Mark) Faust; grandchildren Patricia (Robert) Lowth, Daniel (Jennifer) Rumowski, Dina (Daniel) Weymouth, Jeff (Kristen) Rumowski, Sandra (Tommy) Sebastian, Mark, and Amanda Faust; 11 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Darlene Clark. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Agnus Foster, and Stepmother Florence Foster. Memorials are requested to he Heartland Hospice, 333 N. Summit Street, P.O.     JERZY GACEK

    Of Mt. Prospect

    A funeral service for Jerzy Gacek, 65, of Mt. Prospect will take place today (Wednesday) at 10 a.m. at St. Raymond Church in Mt. Prospect. Visitation was held yesterday (Tuesday) at Friedrichs Funeral Home. Interment will be at St. Adalbert Cemetery. Mr. Gacek was born on Jan, 21 1942 in Poland. He died on Mar. 2, 2007 at his home. He is preceded in death by his father Jan. Mr. Gacek is survived by his wife Joanna, mother Maria, children Piotr and Katherine and siblings Helena Korepta, Janusz (Izabella) Gacek, Andzej (Maria) Gacek and Bogdan (Jola) Gacek.

    JOHN GORA

    of Morton Grove

    Funeral services for John Gora, 67, of Morton Grove took place Saturday, Mar. 3 at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home and Ladislaus Church. Visitation was the previous day. Interment at Maryhill Cemetery. Mr. Gora was born Feb. 1, 1940 in Trzetrzewina, Poland. He worked as a maintenance security officer. He passed away Tuesday, Feb. 27 at Lutheran General Hospital. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jan and Anna (nee Mordarska) Gora and his sister Bronislawa Dyczka. He is survived by his wife Anne (nee Duda) Gora, his children Barbara (Krzysztof) Celinski, Chistopher (Agnieszka) Gora, and Beata (Christopher) Gomez, his grandchildren Nathan, Conrad, Izabela, David, Anthony, and Arabella, and his siblings Leopold (Marianna) Gora, Wladyslaw Gora, Weronika Lukasik, and Hronislawa Dyczka.

    RUTH GRUNDMEIER

    Formerly of Arlington Heights

    A private funeral service and interment was held for Ruth M. Grundmeier (nee Mohl) formerly of Arlington Heights, 84. Mrs. Grundmeier was born in Lost Nation, Iowa on Oct. 11, 1922. She died Friday, Mar. 2 at Manor Care of Rolling Meadows. She worked as a nurse at several hospitals over the years. She is survived in death by her children Patricia L. Juza and Linda L. (Raymond) Diletti, grandchildren David A. (Heather) Diletti, Tracy L. Gordon, Ryan M. (Susan) and Scott A. Juza, great grandchildren James M. and Jake T. Gordon. Mrs. Grundmeier was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. and sisters Alma Boettcher and Irene Mohr. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Lung Association.

    RUSSELL KOREN

    Of Prospect Heights

    A funeral service for Russell S. Koren, 46, took place Wednesday, Feb. 14, at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home. Mr. Koren was born on August 27, 1960 in Chicago. He died suddenly on Friday, Feb. 9 in Prospect Heights. He was survived by his children Alyx and Trevor, parents Ralph and Linda, and brothers Bryant (Laura) and Eric. In lieu of flowers, donations to Norwood Park Lutheran Church are appreciated.

    LILLIAN G. KRAUSE

    Formerly of Prospect Heights

    A celebration of life for Lillian Grace Krause, 81, formerly of Prospect Heights, took place on Saturday, Mar. 3 at Lake Barrington Woods. Ms. Krause was born on Nov. 9, 1925. She worked for M.E. Hunter Tax Offices at Randhurst Shopping Center for 32 years. She died on Feb. 26, 2007 at her home. She is preceded in death by her husband David and brothers Jim and Harold Manderscheid. Ms. Krause is survived by her children David M. and Scott A. (Valerie), grandchildren Erik (Kerry) and Zachary and greatgrandchildren Austin and Griffen Krause. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Lung Association, 1440 W. Washington Blvd., Chicago, IL. 60607. Arrangements by the Cremation Society of Illinois.

    LEONA R. LARSON

    Of Mount Prospect

    A funeral service for Leona R. Larson (nee Holland), 85, was held Saturday, Mar. 3, at Matz Funeral Home in Mt. Prospect. Visitation was held the day before at the funeral home. Ms. Larson was born in Marion, Ohio on Mar. 29, 1921. She died Tuesday, Feb. 27 at Northwest Community Healthcare. She was a 55-year resident of Mt. Prospect. She was survived in death by her children Grant Freeding, Larry and Lenore Larson; grandchildren Eric, Kurt, Kara and Aimee and great grandchild Emma. Ms. Larson was preceded in death by her husband Vernon and sister Violet Weber. Interment was held at Ridgewood Cemetery in Des Plaines. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Berea Children's Home and Family Services.

    PATRICIA GALE McBRIEN

    Raised in Des Plaines

    Patricia Gale McBrien, formerly of Des Plaines, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Mar. 2 at her home in Minnesota. She was 50. Visitation was held in Minnesota today (Friday) at Benson & Langehough Funeral Home in Northfield, Minnesota. McBrien was born September 26, 1956 in Chicago. She was raised in Des Plaines and graduated from Maine East High School in 1975. She went on to radiology school and later worked in the medical field before deciding to switch to banking with TCF Bank, which eventually transferred her to Richfield, Minnesota. McBrien later made another career change and founded her business "never Home alone Pet Sitting," and later founded "Southpaws Canine Academy." In 2003 she became a certified veterinary technician. McBrien is survived by her husband Jerol; brother David (Michelle) Gale; brothers-in-law James (Brenda) McBrien and Charles McBrien; sister-in-law Karen (Dennis); and nephew Kyle. She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Jane (Brisher) Gale. Internment will be in St. Charles, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any humane society.

    LILLIAN ORI

    Of Park Ridge

    A funeral service for Lillian Ori, 73, was held Wednesday, Feb. 28 at St. Paul of the Cross Church in Park Ridge. Visitation was held the day before at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home in Niles. Ms. Ori was born on Feb. 5, 1934. She died on Saturday, Feb. 24 at Lutheran General Hospital. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her children John (Eileen) and Sam (Linda); grandchildren Sam, Gina, Gino (Tiffany), Joseph, Mark and Anthony. She was an aunt and great Aunt of many. Ms. Ori was preceded in death by her husband Gino; mother Maria (nee Ori) Manfredini; father Santo Manfredini; and sisters Laura (the late Bill) Ricchio and Louise. Interment was at St. Mary Cemetery in Highland Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the National Kidney Foundation.

    FRANCES RUNTZ

    Of Arlington Heights

    A funeral service for Frances Loyola Stanbury McCambridge Runtz, 90, was held Saturday, Mar. 3 at St. James Catholic Church in Arlington Heights. The interment was private. Mrs. Runtz was born on July 25, 1916, in Philadelphia, Pa. She died on Saturday, Feb. 17. She was a longtime resident of Skokie and Deerfield and was a member of many congregations. She was an active member of the Deerfield and Phelps (WI) Women's Clubs and a long time Big Sand Lake Club member. She was an Immaculata High School alum and attended Mundelein College. She is survived by her children Robert (Toni) Runtz, Jr., Kathleen (Buddy) Delaney, Richard (Julie) Runtz and Mary (J. Wynn) Alexander, grandchildren Amy (John) Guignon, Becky (Bud) Daleiden, Carrie (Kurt) Winter, Patrick Delaney, Molly (Alan) Sandoval, Kevin Delaney, Taylor and Joe Alexander and Nicole Runtz, great grandchildren Cole, Meg, Jane and Hope Guignon, Max, Anna and Casey Daleiden, Nick, Lainey and Sophie Winter and Sean Sandoval. Mrs. Runtz was preceded in death by her husband Robert Joseph Runtz, Sr. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
