    GENEVIEVE G. BIEWALD
    Of Park Ridge

    A funeral Mass for Genevieve G. Biewald, 91, of Park Ridge, took place Monday, Feb. 20, 11 a.m. at Mary Seat of Wisdom Church. Interment took place at All Saints Cemetery. Visitation took place Sunday, Feb. 19, 2 to 7 p.m. at Matz Funeral Home in Mt. Prospect. Born in Hoven, South Dakota on Apr. 14, 1914, Mrs. Biewald was a retired bookkeeper. Mrs. Biewald died Thursday, Feb. 16 at Resurrection Hospital. Mrs. Biewald was preceded in death by her husband Edward H. Mrs. Biewald is survived by her children Marilynn (Ted) Kretschmer, Joyce (John) Kozlik, Edward (Julie); seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

    ROBERT E. GABOR
    Of Niles

    A memorial service for Robert E. Gabor, 72, of Niles, will take place Friday, Feb. 24, 11:30 a.m. at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home in Niles. Visitation will take place Friday, Feb. 24, 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home. Born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania on Sept. 3, 1933, Mr. Gabor worked as a machine adjuster for envelopes. Mr. Gabor died Thursday, Feb. 16 at Lutheran General Hospital. Mr. Gabor is survived by his wife Armellia; daughter Sandra Clark; sons David Clark, Keith Clark; brother Alan (Sophia); sister Ruth (Walter) Uniejewski; and many nephews and nieces.

    MICHAEL GAUDIO
    Dentist From Park Ridge

    A funeral service for Michael A. "Doc" Gaudio, 94, took place on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at Cooney Funeral Home in Park Ridge. Interment was at Acacia Park Cemetery. Visitation was on Monday, Feb. 20. Mr. Gaudio died on Feb. 17. He was preceded in death by his wife Cornelia "Colonel" (nee Ardito). He was the loving father of Michael M., Donna (George) Tarsitano, and Gary (Mary), the dear grandfather of Robert, Michael F., Alyssa, Aprile, Amy, Anjeanette, and Deidre, the great-grandfather of 11, the fond brother of Lauretta Meyers, and the late Jerry, Marie Anderson, and Virginia Longo, and the uncle of many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Alzheimeršs Assn., 225 N. Michigan Ave., Ste. 1700, Chicago, IL 60601 are appreciated. Funeral arrangements were made by Cooney Funeral Home.

    BEATRICE JAGLA
    of Niles

    A funeral service for Beatrice Jagla, 87, took place on Thursday, Feb. 16 at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew Home. Visitation was Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. with interment at St. Adalbert Cemetery. She was born on Jan. 7, 1919 in Chicago. She worked as a factory assembler and died on Feb. 14 at St. Andrew Home. She was preceded in death by her sister Ann (late Clarence) Kaad. She is survived by her mother Clara Jagla (nee Wloch), brothers Jerome (late Kay), Henry (late Dorothy), Joseph (late Irene), and Bruce, and sister Eleanor (late Richard) Ebel. She was also the fond aunt and friend of many. In lieu of flowers, contributions to your favorite charity are appreciated. Funeral arrangements were made by Skaja Terrace Funeral Home in Niles.

    DOLORES LEE Librarian At
    Maine West High School

    A funeral Mass for Dolores Lee (nee Dietz), 82, will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at St. Mary Church in Des Plaines at 11 a.m. Visitation was on Tuesday, Feb. 21; interment will be private. Mrs. Lee was born on June 2, 1923 in Chicago. She retired as a librarian at Maine West High School and as a bookkeeper. She was also a member of the Brown Baggers Lunch Group. She died at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights on Feb. 19. She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony and her brother Joe (Dolores) Dietz. She is survived by her son John Lee, her daughter Deborah Garcia, three grandchildren, her brother Jerry (Elaine) Dietz and her sister Jean (Jerry) Dietz. In lieu of flowers, masses are appreciated. Funeral arrangements were made by Oehler Funeral Home in Des Plaines.

    CAROLINE LUZIN
    Of Niles

    A funeral service for Caroline L. Luzin, 91, took place on Monday, Feb. 13 at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home in Niles. Interment was at Montrose Cemetery and visitation was at Skaja preceding the service. Mrs. Luzin was born on June 10, 1914. She was a homemaker and died on Feb. 11 at Regency Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her father Jacob Dreksler and her mother Katherine (nee Lorenz) Dreksler. She is survived by her husband Anton Luzin, her daughter Diane (Dan) Jursa, her son Anthony (FJ) Luzin, a godchild Marylin, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were made by Skaja Terrace Funeral Home.

    JENNIE MILAZZO
    Of Des Plaines

    A funeral Mass for Jennie Milazzo (nee Carrozza), 94, of Des Plaines, took place Saturday, Feb. 18, 10:30 a.m. at St. Zachary Church. Interment took place at St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove. Visitation took place Friday, Feb. 17, 4 to 9 p.m. at Friedrichs Funeral Home. Mrs. Milazzo was a member of St. Zachary Church and the Golden Aires. Mrs. Milazzo died at Hospice of Naples - Georgeson in Naples, Fla. Mrs. Milazzo was preceded in death by her husband Stephen. Mrs. Milazzo is survived by her children Phyllis (Milton) Weiby, Geraldine (John) Murnane; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

    HARRY PERKOWSKI
    Of Des Plaines

    A funeral service for Harry Roman Perkowski, 52, took place on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home in Niles at 9:15 a.m. and at St. Paul of the Cross Church at 10 a.m. Visitation was on Monday Feb. 20. Mr. Perkowski was born in Kolo, Poland on Sept. 30, 1953. He worked as a mechanical engineer and died Feb. 18 at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. He was preceded in death by his father Chester Perkowski and his father-in-law Maximilian Okonek. He is survived by his wife, Zdzislawa (nee Okonek), children Thomas and Joanna Perkowski, his mother Jadwiga Perkowski (nee Sikorska), his brother Zbigniew (Alina) Perkowski, nephews Gregory and Mark, a niece Renee, and his mother-in-law Anna Okonek.

    JACQUELINE EBERLY
    of Rolling Meadows

    A funeral service and interment for Jacqueline Elizabeth Eberly (nee Hood) 82, were private. She was a 51-year resident of Rolling Meadows, worked as a waitress at the Waterfall Restaurant, and died at her home on Feb. 15. Mrs. Eberly was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Lee Eberly, a son Robert (Kim) Eberly, and a brother Gordon Hood. She is survived by her children Sandra Verba, Susan, Lu Gene, Sheree, and Eugene Jr. (Karen), her 12 grandchildren and her 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were made by Meadows Funeral Home in Rolling Meadows.

    JOYCE COSTELLO
    of Schaumburg

    Visitation for Joyce E. Costello (nee Turner) 78, took place on Sunday, Feb. 19, at Meadow Funeral Home in Rolling Meadows. Interment was at Lakewood Memorial Park in Elgin. Mrs. Costello was born on July 10, 1927 in Chicago. She worked as a checker in Rolling Meadows and Palatine at Dominickšs Finer Foods. She lived in Rolling Meadows then in Schaumburg and died on Feb. 16 at Lexington of Lake Zurich. She was the wife of the late Thomas, mother or James (Patti), Carolyn (Michael) Palmer, Thomas (Kara), Janet (David) Goding, Ronald (Shannon) and Donna (Bret) Jackson, grandmother of 15, and great-grandmother of 1. She was the sister of Dennis (the late Phylis), Dee (John) Turner, the late Norman (the late Phylis) Turner, Gloria Pitts, and Shirley Lamberg.

    DOROTHY VIRGINIA CHLUPSA
    Formerly of Arlington Hts.

    Visitation services will be held for Dorothy Virginia Chlupsa (nee Andrews), 84, on Friday, Feb. 24 at the Meadows Funeral Home, Rolling Meadows. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25 at the Faith Lutheran Church, Arlington Hts. Chlupsa of Lockport, formerly of Arlington Hts., died on Feb. 18 at Loyola Medical Center, Maywood. She was known by many as "Grama C." She was the wife of the late Richard; mother of Nancy (Ronald) De Vincenzo and Kenneth (Kim) Chlupsa; grandmother of five and great grandmother of four. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Faith Lutheran Church.

    JOSEPH JOHN TUMMILLO
    Age 87

    Funeral services were held for Joseph John Tummillo, 87, on Feb. 22 at the Meadows Funeral Home, Rolling Meadows and Feb. 23 at the Holy Family Church, Inverness. Interment was at St. Michael Cemetery, Palatine. Tummillo was a Rolling Meadows resident. He worked for the Chicago Board of Education as a janitor for more than 25 years. He was also a WWII veteran. He was the husband of the late Mildred (nee Esposito); brother of Theresa (the late Ed) Giacchette; father of Joseph Tummillo and Mary Ann (Allen) Turner; grandfather of six and great grandfather of eight. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Heart Association, American Cancer or Diabetes Association.

    NANCY RATEIKE
    of Rolling Meadows

    A funeral service and interment for Nancy M. Rateike (nee Mahler) 67, were private. She was born May 17, 1938 in Des Plaines. She worked at Striking Lanes in Mt. Prospect and died at her home on Feb. 12. She is survived by her husband Calvin, her children Shirley Reeves, Ronald (Sandy) and Daniel Jump, and Theresa (Jeff) Bartotziej, and her sister Kay Kinzinger. She was the grandmother of seven and the great-grandmother of three. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mt. Prospect are appreciated. Funeral arrangements were made by Meadows Funeral Home in Rolling Meadows.

    MICHAEL SEMKIW
    Age 61

    Michael Semkiw passed away Feb. 18 at his home in Des Plaines. Born in Germany on Nov. 23, 1944, Mr. Semkiw had lived in Des Plaines for 10 years. Mr. Semkiw made his living as a typesetter. He succumbed to a long illness. He is survived by wife Sandra (nee Macewich). Funeral services and interment were private. Arrangements were made by Severinošs River Woods Funeral Chapels.

    MARTIN B. LUNDGREN
    Army veteran formerly of Elk Grove Village

    A funeral service for Martin B. Lundgren, 77, took place on Friday, Feb. 17, at Grove Memorial Chapel in Elk Grove Village. Memorial was held before the service. Mr. Lundgren was born in Chicago. He served in the U.S. Army and worked at Target in Joliet. After residing in Elk Grove Village for 35 years, he lived in Crest Hill for the last 10 years. He died on Feb. 16 at his home. He is survived by his wife Kate (nee Labelle), his children Michael (Cathy), Candy (Michael) Colgan, Pam Lundgren, stepchildren Michael (Jen) Ostergreen and Tom (Kathryn) Ostergreen, and grandchildren Rachel, Stephanie, Jamie, Leif, Lex, Ally, Dylan, Ashley, Joey, and Jimmy. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Cancer Assn. are appreciated. Funeral arrangements were made by Grove Memorial Chapel.

    HARRY J. FLEENER
    IBM Employee

    A private funeral service for Harry J. Fleener, 78, of Des Plaines, will be held next week in G.L. Hills Funeral Home, Des Plaines. Burial will be private. A native of Saunemin, Illinois, and a former resident of Franklin Park, he died Feb. 19 in Bethany Terrace, Morton Grove. He worked for IBM Corp., was a veteran of the Korean War, and was involved in Boy Scouts. Surviving are his widow, Erika E. (nee Markloff); children Ronald J. (Julie) of Rochelle, IL, and Troy E. (Kris) of Carpentersville, IL, grandchildren Patrick and Linda Fleener, and sister Shirley (the late Russel) Doris. He was preceded in death by siblings Phyllis (Virgil) Hensen, and Rita Fleener.

    EDNA T. GLADE
    Of Arlington Heights

    A funeral service for Edna T. Glade (nee Kieper), 94, took place on Thursday, Feb. 16 at The Lutheran Home in Arlington Hts. Interment was at Ridgewood Cemetery in Des Plaines. Visitation was Wednesday at The Lutheran Home. Mrs. Glade was born on June 8, 1911 in Chicago. She died on Feb. 11 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Hts. She was preceded in death by her husband Rudolph, her daughter Jean L. Glade, and a sister Leona Hedke. She is survived by her children Karen (John) Schroeder and Marian (late Richard) Neumann, grandchildren Kathy (Robert) Smith, Robert and Jean Neumann, and her sister Ethel Lundstrom. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Peters Lutheran Church in Arlington Hts are appreciated. Funeral arrangements were made by Meadows Funeral Home in Rolling Meadows.
