Rose Mary Bogaerts (nee Dooms) of Palatine passed away Feb. 8 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Hts. Mrs. Bogaerts was a long time member of St. Theresa Church and a professional artist who loved sewing. She was preceded in death by husband Arthur A. and parents Achiel and Emma Dooms. Survivors include children Stephen C. (Judy), Mary Kay (Rick) Riviere, Janyne A. Kasprowicz and John A. (Jill); and twelve grandchildren. A Mass was held Monday at St. Theresa Church. Arrangements were made by Meadows Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Parkinson Foundation.

A funeral service for Russell J. Chizek, 61, of Rolling Meadows, was held Feb. 11 in Trinity Lutheran Church, Rolling Meadows. Interment followed in Ridgewood Cemetery. Arrangements were by Meadows Funeral Home. A native of Biwabik, Minnesota, he died Feb. 7 in Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge. He worked in the telecommunication field for more than 40 years. Surviving are his widow, Marie (nee Liebig), children Michelle (Scott), Henry, and Renee (Mark) Cole; grandson Christian Michael Henry; and his mother, Doris. Memorials are requested to Trinity Lutheran Church.

LUCILLE R. DYER
Des Plainesite since 1959

Lucille R. Dyer passed away Feb. 7. She was celebrated with a Mass Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Des Plaines. Mrs. Dyer was a member of the St. Mary Altar and Rosary and a Des Plaines Elk for 35 years. She was preceded in death by husband Gene and brother Peter Buczek. Mrs. Dyer is survived by sons Rev. Gene, Paul (Carrie), Greg (Kim), Peter (Jennifer) and Jeff (Sandy) Dyer; sisters Julia (the late Chester) Bartecki, Frances (the late Edward) Czerwinski and Ann (the late Ben) Clement; grandchildren Lisa, Matthew, Tommy, Benjamin and Kylie; and many nieces and nephews. HENRY PLICHTA
WWII Veteran Of Glenview

A funeral service for Henry Plichta, 79, took place on Saturday, Jan. 28, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Interment was at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles. Visitation was held at Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home in Niles. Mr. Plichta was born on Sept. 14, 1926 in Chicago. He served in the U.S. Army in WWII. He was a past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, a member of the Glenview American Legion Post, the Chicago Polish Society, and served as an usher at Our Lady of Perpetual Help for 25 years. He worked for 59 years as a salesman. He died on Jan. 24 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Hts. He is survived by his wife Irene (nee Brozyna), children Christopher (Kim) and Robert (Donna) Plichta, and grandchildren Katie, Megham, Jason, and Lauren. He was the dear brother-in-law of Adele (Donald) Wallner, uncle of Fred (Susan) Plichta, Kathy (Mark) Hohmeier, Lisa (Bruce) Burns, Neil (Susan) Wallner, Joan (Tom) Connell, and Don Wallner, and granduncle to many nieces and nephews. Diane F. Jenz (nee Denten) passed away Jan. 31 in her Glenview home. She was born Nov. 18, 1947 in Chicago. Mrs. Jenz is survived by husband James E. Jenz; children Jonathan (Laura) Jenz, Jodie (Thomas) Sloan and Julie (Steven) Brooks; grandchildren Luke, Riley, Molly and Maggie; and brothers Donald (Margie) and David (Joan) Denten. A funeral was held at N.J. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home in Glenview, with burial at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake, Wi. ADOLPH WYSOCKI
WWII veteran from Glenview

A funeral service for Adolph Wysocki, 87, took place on Jan. 31 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Interment was at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines. Visitation was at Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home in Niles. Mr. Wysocki was born on April 12, 1918 in Cedar Rapids, IA. He served in the U.S. Air Force in WWII and became the CEO of Spring and Wire Corp. He died at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge on Jan. 28. He is survived by his wife Florence (nee Ostapa), and children Thomas (Ann), Carolyn (Ron) Gralewski, Nancy (Tom) Brach, and John (Sarah) Wysocki. He was the grandfather of Rebecca, Cindy, Bill, Maggie, Sarah, Shannon, Mary, Joseph, Rosie, Tad, Amy, Lynnette, Katie, Tracie, Merridith, Bryan, Michael, and the late Susan, the great-grandfather of five, the loving uncle of many, and the brother of Al (late Kay), late Kay (Harry) Jagla, and the late Ted Wysocki. A funeral service for Pearl Zelenka, 97, of Glenview, took place Tuesday, Feb. 7, 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Glenview. Interment took place at Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Visitation took place Monday, Feb. 6, 4 to 9 p.m. at Smith Corcoran Funeral Home in Glenview. Mrs. Zelenka, a former Darien resident, retired from Sears with 40 years of service. Mrs. Zelenka died Friday, Feb. 3. Mrs. Zelenka was preceded in death by her husband Charles Zelenka Sr.; brother George Sladetz; sister-in-law Anna Homolka; and brother-in-law Frank Zelenka. Mrs. Zelenka is survived by her daughter Alice (Rudy) Schoenherr; and grandchildren Lori Schoenherr, and Nancy (John) Zadrozny. Mrs. Zelenka was a delighted and thankful member in the extended families of Killinger, Knox, Michaels, Millan, Sherwin, Mooney, Hutchins, Handley, Turner, Heneghan, Dawson and Votava. A funeral Mass for Sonia Gembara (nee Satkiewicz) took place Friday, Feb. 10, 10 a.m. at St. Paul of the Cross Church. Interment took place at St. Adalbert Cemetery. Visitation took place Thursday, Feb. 9, 3 to 9 p.m. at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home. Mrs. Gembara was a longtime member of Polish National Alliance Group, #1084 and Polish Womenšs Alliance of America. Mrs. Gembara died Saturday, Feb. 4. Mrs. Gembara was preceded in death by her husband John; and sister Alyce Mueller. Mrs. Gembara is survived by her children Barbara (Donald) Kopec, Regina McComb; six grandchildren; sister Jane Kloc; and many in-laws, nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass for Warren R. Hansen, 76, of Rolling Meadows, was celebrated Feb. 13 in St. Colette Church, Rolling Meadows. Interment followed in Arlington Cemetery, Elmhurst. Arrangements were by Meadows Funeral Home. A native of Chicago, he died Feb. 7 in Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Hts. He worked many years as a tool and die polisher. Surviving are his widow, Rita (nee Golbeck); children Michael (Sheila) and Judy Hansen; granddaughter Amy Hansen; great-granddaughter Josie Hansen; and sister Lois. He was preceded in death by a brother, John.

GLENN HEIMBUCH

A visitation for Glenn Heimbuch, 64, of Palatine, took place Monday, Feb. 13, 5 to 8 p.m. at Meadows Funeral Home. Born in Chicago on June 30, 1941, Mr. Heimbuch worked for People Gas Company for more than 25 years as a credit collector. Mr. Heimbuch was preceded in death by his father Raymond; and brother Donald W. Mr. Heimbuch is survived by his children Glen Jr. Cory (Sam) Meddors, Michael (Lisa), Michelle (Rob) Mac Farland; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; mother Edna; and brother Kenneth B. (Susan).

VIOLET ANN HENRY
Formerly Of Arlington Hts.

Former Arlington Hts. resident Violet Ann Henry (nee Savini) died Feb. 7 at Lexington Nursing Center in Schaumburg. Mrs. Henry was celebrated with a Mass at St. Zachary Church in Des Plaines before interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery. She was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and a homemaker. Mrs. Henry was preceded in death by husband William G. Henry, two sisters and four brothers. She is survived by son Joseph J. (Judy) Domaracki; daughter Mary K. Henry; grandchildren Brian, Elise and Lauren; and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Henry was 86 years old.

MARTIN KUCERA
Veteran of WWII, Of Mt. Prospect

A funeral service for Martin J. Kucera, 84 took place on Wednesday, Feb 8, at Cooney Funeral Home in Park Ridge. Visitation was Tuesday. Mr. Kucera was a longtime resident of Park Ridge before moving to Mt. Prospect. He died on Feb. 5. He was the beloved husband of Norma (nee Carroll), the loving father of Donna Thompson, Richard (Mary Jo), and Ronald (Barbara), the dear grandfather of Jeff (Christine) and Sandra Thompson, Melanie, Brian, Kevin, Michael, and Anna Kathryn Kucera, dear brother of Bette (the late Irv) Zavadsky, fond brother-in-law of James (Florence) Carroll and Mary (the late Bob) Bunn, and fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Robert Park, 93, a resident of Park Ridge, was held Feb. 13 in Cooney Funeral Home, Park Ridge. Interment was private. A native of Glasgow, Scotland, he died Feb. 9. He was a veteran of the Royal Navy during World War II. Surviving are his son, Robert L. (Patricia); grandfather of Robert A. (Margaret), Lisa S. Mrs. Rachmaciej died Thursday, Feb. 9 at Saint Matthew Lutheran Home. Mrs. Rachmaciej is survived by her son Walter D.; daughter Rosemary (David) Mueller; two grandchildren; sister Phyllis Pawlis; and many nephews and nieces.
