Genevieve Flack, 102, died Saturday, Aug. 7 at Rainbow Hospice Ark in Park Ridge. She was born June 21, 1908.

She is survived by sons Raymond Flack and Edward (Iris) Flack.

She was preceded in death by husband Albert Flack.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 11 at Skaja Terrace Funeral Home and at St. John Brebeuf Church, both in Niles.

Bernard Holy

Of Arlington Hts.

Bernard F. Holy, almost 90,  died Monday, Aug. 9. He was born Aug. 15, 1920. He was a veteran of World War II.

He was preceded in death by wife Grace (nee Ditore) and sister Marion (Edward) Hobart.

He is survived by wife Frances (nee Czerniewski); children William (Francine) Holy, Jane Walsh, Jody (Steve) Spizzirri, and Sharon (Larry) Cuttone; grandchildren Christopher, Jillian, and Jonathan Holy, and Matthew and Ryan Walsh; many nieces and nephews; and was a loving Papa of Mario Cuttone.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 14 at St. Edna’s Catholic Church in Arlington Hts.

Patricia A. Kittridge

Of Arlington Hts.

Patricia A. Kittridge, 80, died Monday, Aug. 9. She was born Aug. 11, 1929.

She is survived by children Mary Anne (Troy) Longpre, William F. (Margit) Kittridge III, and Barbara Kittridge; grandchildren Michael, Thomas, Aniko, and Vivian; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband William F. Kittridge Jr.; and siblings Robert Lynch, Dr. John (Eileen) Lynch, Mary Jane (late John) Coleman, Richard (late Joan) Lynch, Dr. Miles (Joan) Lynch, and Barbara (William) Lohmeier.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Aug. 12 at Our Lady of the Wayside Church in Arlington Hts., preceded by prayers at Glueckert Funeral Home.

Patricia F. Koehl

Of Elk Grove Village

Patricia F. “Patt” Koehl (nee Kindle), 79, died Friday, Aug. 13 in her home alongside her family. She was born Dec. 12, 1930 in Chicago. She was formerly employed by Jarosch Bakery of Elk Grove Village.

She is survived by her husband Kenneth C.; children Dennis C. (Shar) Koehl, Peggy A. Koehl, and Susan A. Koehl; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and kitties.

She was preceded in death by sister Peggy Johnston.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Aug. 18 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Julian Eymard Church. Chapel prayers were said at noon.

Teena J. Koziol

Formerly of Elk Grove Village

Teena J. Koziol (nee Carone), 86, formerly of Elk Grove Village, died Monday, Aug. 9 at Sunrise Brighton Gardens of Hoffman Estates.  She was born in Chicago.

She is survived by children LuAnn (Scott) Hudgins and John P. Koziol; grandchildren Laura (Mathias) Klein, James-Jerald Koziol, and Patrick-Brian Hudgins; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by husband Peter P. and brother Nicholas Carone.

A funeral mass was celebrated Saturday, Aug. 14 at St. Julian Eymard Church in Elk Grove Village.

Walter E. Kunze, Jr.

Of Arlington Hts.

Walter E. Kunze, Jr. died Monday, Aug. 2 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Hts. He was born Jan. 3, 1924 in St. Paul, MN, to Walter E. and Caroline (Brenning) Kunze. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in World War II.

He is survived by wife Frances; daughters Anne (Jeff) Copeland, Jean (Greg) Poland, and Elizabeth (Paul) Odom; grandchildren Sharon (Dan) Ryan, Brian and Diane Copeland, Caroline, Eric, and Matt Poland, and Paul, Bobby, and David Odom.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Ruth (Robert) Debel.

Funeral services were held Friday, Aug. 13 at Lutheran Home and Service for the Aged in Arlington Hts.

Vincent John Mastandrea, Sr.

Formerly of Buffalo Grove

Vincent John Mastandrea Sr., 81, formerly of Buffalo Grove, passed away in his home on Monday, Aug. 9. Mass was celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Church in Buffalo Grove on Friday, Aug. 13.

Mastandrea was born on June 22, 1929 in Chicago. He served in the Korean Conflict as an Army engineer and received the Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, and two bronze stars.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria (nee Walrack) Mastandrea; children, Vince (Marge) Jr., Tim (Kim), and Terry (Murlene) Mastandrea, Lisa (Mike) Thorn, and Sandi (Tony) Nudo; 12 grandchildren; great-grandson Luca; and six of his siblings.

Maureen M. Moore

Formerly of Huntley

Maureen M. Moore, 73, formerly of Huntley passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 10.  Funeral services were held at Ryan-Parke Funeral Home in Park Ridge and St. Paul of the Cross Church in Park Ridge on Friday, Aug. 13.

She is survived by her husband, Edward; children, Michael (Heather), Kathleen (Bruno) Mangiardi, Brian (Kelly), and Mary (Matthew) Becker; and grandchildren, Ryan, Madeline, Matteo, Juliana, Brendan, Colin, Nolan, Audrey, and Matthew.

Lillian Panucci

Of Arlington Hts.

Lillian Panucci, 93, died on Thursday, Aug. 5. She was born March 18, 1917.

She is survived by children Robert (Wyn), Patricia (Pete McNamara) Burns, Joy Ann (Jim) Dowey, Janice (Bill) Town, Michele (Joe Rogers), Tom (Judy), and Ken (Laurie); 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and friend and caregiver Victoria.

She was preceded in death by husband Joseph and son James. Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 9 at Glueckert Funeral Home.

Donald A. Rundlett

Of Rolling Meadows

Donald A. Rundlett, 72, of Rolling Meadows died Aug. 13 at his home. He was born Dec. 28, 1937, in Des Plaines. He was a veteran of the Army, a member of the Arlington Hts. American Legion Post 208 and DuPage County Cement Finisher Union 803.

He was the husband of Donna; father of Donald J. and Dennis (Monquie); grandfather of Bobby and Max Rundlett; brother of James Rundlett and Margaret Jesse.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 20 at 8 p.m. at Meadows Funeral Home in Rolling Meadows.

Ralph R. Ruthenberg, M.D.

Of Arlington Hts.

Ralph R. Ruthenberg, M.D., 90, of Arlington Hts., died Aug. 12.

He was the husband of the late Annette; father of Dale (George) Davidson and Ralph, Jr. (Linda), grandfather of Brooke Davidson. Services will be private.

Meadows Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Georgya M. Schneider

Of Rolling Meadows

Georgya M. Schneider (nee Mueller), 88, of Rolling Meadows died Aug. 15 in her home. She was born July 25, 1922 in Kenosha, WI.

She worked many years for United Airlines and Camin Air. She also worked at the Rolling Meadows Library.

She was the wife of the late Henry J. Jr., mother of Henry J. III (Sharon) Schneider and the late Lynn M. (the late Raymond) Kmiecik; grandmother of four and the late Georgya Lynn Schneider; great grandmother of two.

Funeral services are set for Thursday, Aug. 19 at 9:30 a.m. at Meadows Funeral Home in Rolling Meadows to St. Colette Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
