THE JOURNAL & TOPICS NEWSPAPERS | WEDNESDAY, MAY 25, 2005
The carnival will feature games, rides, refreshments, entertainment, and other attractions. It's also the Mt. Prospect Jaycees' largest fundraiser, and brings in most of the money that the organization gives back to the community in the form of college scholarships, senior citizen activites, summer camps, events for sick children, and other causes.
Weather permitting, the carnival will be open on Wednesday and Thursday from 6 to 10 p.m., on Friday from 6 to 11 p.m., on Saturday and Sunday from 1 to 11 p.m., and on Monday (Memorial Day) from 1 to 10 p.m.
Tickets for carnival rides and games will be sold at the amusement park. Unlimited ride wristbands can also be purchased for $15--or $13 with participating area merchants--and can be used Wednesday and Thursday evening and 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
