The following records are from the files of the Glenview Village Police Dept. The Glenview Journal publishes its "Police Blotter" every Thursday:

DUI

CHARGES

Paul G. Michelini, 42, of 956 Shermer Rd., Glenview, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and reckless driving. Police stopped him in the 1700 block of East Lake Avenue at 9:33 a.m. Apr. 20.

Gareth C. Aiken, 26, of 374 Glenwood Drive #103, Bloomingdale, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and other traffic violations. Police located him at Central Road and Harlem Avenue at 10:54 p.m. Apr. 30 where he was allegedly passed out behind the steering wheel of his car.

Armando Gamarra, 24, of 1766 Greenwood Rd. #H, Glenview, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, no valid driver's license, and other traffic violations. Police stopped him at 8:42 p.m. Apr. 30 in the 2400 block of Chestnut Avenue.

Marty A. Brooks, 48, of 821 Eighth St., Northfield, was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, blood alcohol content more than .08 percent, improper lane usage, and improper turn. An officer pulled him over in the 1500 block of Waukegan Road at 1:33 a.m. May 2 for an alleged illegal left turn.

RETAIL THEFT

CHARGED

Lucia B. Kiolbassa, 51, of 5849 Emerson St., Morton Grove, was charged with retail theft at Von Maur, 1960 Tower Drive. She was stopped at 1:10 p.m. Apr. 23.

Peggy Ciccarelli, 49, of 1052 Inverueth Rd., Lake Forest, was charged with retail theft at 1:53 p.m. Apr. 28. Police stopped her at Von Maur, 1960 Tower Drive, after she allegedly tried to leave without paying for a blouse valued at $55.

RETAIL THEFT

REPORTED

Someone in a blue 2005 Honda pumped $30 of gasoline and fled without paying at 2:25 p.m. Apr. 16. The incident occurred at 7-Eleven Citgo, 2441 Glenview Rd.

DRIVING

CHARGES

Luciano A. Arcos, 39, of 560 Princeton St. #A2W, Des Plaines, was charged with no valid driver's license and unsafe u-turn at 2:38 p.m. Apr. 29. He was stopped in the 3800 block of Willow Road after a traffic accident.

Kyle M. Lindquist, 28, of 64 Willow Parkway, Buffalo Grove, was charged with driving with a suspended driver's license at 2:07 a.m. May 2. Police stopped him at Willow Road and the Tri-State Tollway.

STOLEN

VEHICLES

Someone took a silver 2005 Ford Taurus from the 9700 block of Milwaukee Avenue at 8:49 p.m. Apr. 19. The keys were left in the vehicle, the owner told police. The vehicle was recovered the next day in unincorporated Des Plaines.

BURGLARIES

AND THEFTS

An unlocked bicycle was taken from a parking garage at 1801 Tower before 11:23 a.m. Apr. 16.

A window was broken and electronic equipment taken from a car in the 200 block of Ferndale Lane between 11:30 p.m. Apr. 15 and 7:30 a.m. Apr. 16.

Electronic equipment and personal items were taken from an unlocked 1997 Ford Explorer in the 400 block of Ferndale Avenue. The burglary occurred before 9:13 a.m. Apr. 23.

Two bags of clothing valued at $80 were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 900 block of Arbor Lane before 11:14 a.m. Apr. 23.

Someone took makeup and books valued at $335 from an unknown 2005 Kia Optima in the 900 block of Arbor Lane. The burglary occurred before 11:30 a.m. Apr. 23.

An unknown amount of change was taken from an unlocked Buick in the 1000 block of Arbor Lane overnight on Apr. 22.

Toys were taken from a yard in the 1900 block of Larkdale Drive before 8 p.m. Apr. 26.

A gold chain was taken from a room at Marriott Courtyard, 1801 Milwaukee Ave., sometime Apr. 27.

WARRANT

APPREHENSIONS

Stanley E. Roman, 19, of 8060 N. Oriole Ave. # 1, Niles, was served an outstanding warrant from Park Ridge for failure to appear. Police took him into custody at 10:47 p.m. Apr. 28 while investigating a suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of Montgomery Street.

VANDALISM

REPORTS

Someone damaged the coils of an air conditioner at LaSalle Bank, 2821 Pfingsten Rd., before 10:21 a.m. Apr. 14.

A window was broken on a Chevrolet van in the 2000 block of Grove Street between 9:20 and 9:45 p.m. Apr. 19. Someone threw a stick through a window of a home in the 1600 block of Greenwood Road at 9:31 p.m. Apr. 18.

Someone spray-painted graffiti on an overpass and fence in the 1300 block of Lehigh Avenue before 5:27 p.m. Apr. 22.

The rear windshield wiper was pulled off a car in the 1000 block of Depot Street before 9:36 a.m. Apr. 23.

Two tires were slashed on a Jeep Cherokee between 7:20 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. Apr. 23. The vehicle was parked in the 1100 block of Milwaukee Avenue.

A window was broken on a Plymouth Voyager in the 200 block of Parkview Avenue between 1 and 2 p.m. Apr. 23.

Someone broke a window of a car in the 200 block of Parkview Avenue between 1 and 2 p.m. Apr. 23.

Someone chopped a tree with a hatchet, smashed patio bricks, and tore screens at a home in the 600 block of Juniper Road. The damage to the vacant home occurred before 11:28 a.m. Apr. 27.
