Night School's First Prom Saturday

Glenbrook Evening School students will hold their first ever prom this Saturday, May 10 at the Radisson Hotel in Northbrook.

After a story about GBE ran in early March, students received $4,000 in donations to hold the first ever prom.

School officials said, though final costs are not in, they believe $4,000 should cover the costs of the event.

In March, the Dist. 225 school board honored GBE students and advisor Melissa DeFrenza, for creating a yearbook and a line of clothing for students. A student was also awarded a Bridge Builder award for working to keep students attending school.
