73-Piece Silverware Set Stolen From Home

The following items are from Elk Grove Police Department incident reports. The Elk Grove Journal publishes the police blotter every week.

BURGLARY REPORTED

A 73-piece set of Reed & Barton silver flatware, an Eddie Bauer leather jacket, HP laptop and three pieces of jewelry were among items stolen from a home on Wisconsin Lane between 3:30 and 8:10 p.m. Jan. 26. The offender reportedly entered through a back door and ransacked the home. The victim could not provide a full list of items taken at the time, according to police.

Three skids of LCD televisions valued at $5,600 were stolen from Infinate Logistics, 650 Morris Ave., between Jan. 29 and Jan. 31. A window was pried open to gain entry.

A Samsung television, DVD player and Nintendo gaming system were stolen from an apartment at 431 Perrie Dr. between 4:30 and 5:20 p.m. Jan. 29.

A Tom Tom GPS unit was stolen from a 2003 Mitsubishi Galant at 655 Versailles Circle between 4 and 10:20 p.m. Jan. 24. The driver's side window was smashed out.

A Garmin GPS unit was stolen from a 2007 Honda Civic at 715 Bordeaux Ct. between 8 p.m. Jan. 24 and 7:30 a.m. Jan. 25.

THEFT REPORTED

A North Face jacket with an Apple iPod and car keys in the pockets was stolen from the coat room at 1180 W. Devon Ave. between 4:45 and 8 p.m. Jan. 29.

DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

The front headlight lens assembly was stolen off a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix at the 1500 block of Home Circle between Jan. 30 and Jan. 31.

FOUR ARRESTS

Elk Grove police made four arrests last week with charges including possession of cannabis, violation of bail bond and driving while under the influence.

Charged with DUI was Diana L. Sutherland of 225 Home Ave., Itasca.
