Spare Tires Stolen From Underneath Bed Of Trucks

The following items are from Elk Grove Police Department incident reports. The Elk Grove Journal publishes the police blotter every week.

BURGLARY REPORTED

About $2 in spare change was stolen from the console of an unlocked vehicle at the 1000 block of Leicester between 8 p.m. Jan. 20 and 6 a.m. Jan. 21.

An I-pod charger and Bluetooth were stolen from a 2006 Honda at the 1100 block of Leicester between 9 p.m. Jan. 20 and 8 a.m. Jan. 21.

THEFT REPORTED

Four spare tires were stolen from four new Chevrolet Silverado pick-up trucks at 175 N. Arlington Hts. Road between 4:30 p.m. Jan. 15 and 7 a.m. Jan. 19. The spare tire locks were cut off from underneath the truck beds.

An attempted car theft was reported when an employee found the ignition punched in on a 1999 Ford F-150 truck at 2450 Lunt Ave. The damage occurred between 7:30 a.m. Jan. 18 and 1 p.m. Jan. 20.

DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

Several wires to an amplifier were cut at 200 Reverend Morrison Blvd. between 3 and 8:30 p.m. Jan. 22.

FOUR ARRESTS

Elk Grove police made four arrests last week with charges including theft, assault and warrant for arrest.

None of the arrestees resided in Elk Grove Village.
