EG Property Gets Tax Break
A 15,200 sq. ft. property in Elk Grove Village's Business Park that has stood vacant since 2004 is expected to soon be occupied by PSC Industrial Outsourcing.
PSC would bring 22 new jobs to the site once the purchase of the property is complete and would bring an additional 18 employees later, increasing the workforce to 40.
Village trustees granted their approval that the property at 1300 Landmeier Road be granted "6B" property tax status that would reduce the property's tax rate from 36% to 16% of fair market value for 12 years.
PSC would use the site for warehousing and distribution of "environmentally sensitive" sensitive materials and waste.
Timeline for the move-in has not been clarified and calls to PSC's headquarters were not returned.
