Toyota, $25,800 In Items Stolen
The following items are from Elk Grove Police Department incident reports. The Elk Grove Journal publishes the police blotter every week.
BURGLARY REPORTED
A 2004 Toyota Corolla was stolen from the driveway and a 50" plasma television, surround sound system, laptop computer, gaming unit, tools and wooden sculptures were stolen from inside a home at the 1000 block of Talbots Lane between 7 p.m. Dec. 23, 2009 and 9 p.m. Jan. 15, 2010. The front door lock had been broken with a blunt object. The total value of the items was estimated at $25,800.
A GPS unit was stolen from a 2004 Lexus RX330 at 50 Northwest Point Blvd. between 8:30 a.m. and 7:20 p.m. Jan. 13. The driver's side window was smashed.
THEFT REPORTED
Copper piping, wiring and controls to six heating units were stolen off the roof of Office Max, 300 Busse Rd., between July 1, 2009 and Jan. 13, 2010.
A 2008 Vanguard trailer, valued at $16,000, was stolen from Focus Transportation, 675 Touhy Ave., between Dec. 24, 2009 and January 1, 2010.
DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
The rear window was smashed on a 1996 Ford Mustang at the 500 block of Sussex Court between 11 p.m. Jan. 15 and 6 a.m. Jan. 16.
TEN ARRESTS
Elk Grove police made ten arrests last week with charges including felony theft, burglary, possession of cannabis, driving under the influence and violation of bail bond.
Charged with DUI were Daniel N. Bohun of 14 Buchanan Lane in Streamwood, Michael S. Delise of 600 Fairbanks Court in Schaumburg and Federico Raygoza Jr. of 742 Cutter Lane in Elk Grove Village.
