EGHS V-Show Jan. 28-30

Elk Grove High School announced its annual variety show for Thursday through Saturday, Jan. 28 through 30 at 7 p.m. The show is titled "Son of V-Show" and will feature weird or frightening acts. A student house band will play during the pre-show, intermission, and short transitions. About 110 students will participate in the show. The acts include Orchesis, an acapella duet, musical ensembles, EG Breakers, EG Drum Line, Beats Mystique Bellydancers, Bollywood dancers, a comedy troupe, and the bands "Know Nahme" and "Teenage Sheep."

Student directors for the comedy troupe are senior Matt Vuchichevich and junior Shannon Hancock. Vuchichevich and sophomore Ben Weir are in charge of the house band while seniors Peter Olszowka and Sarah Walz are running tech.

Brad Kahler, technical theater director, and Miguel Sanchez are the directors for the show; Sue Montemayor is the House Manager.
