Police Blotter

The following items are from Elk Grove Police Department incident reports. The Elk Grove Journal publishes the police blotter every week.

BURGLARY REPORTED

Watches, diamond rings, gold coins, money and papers were stolen from a safe at a residence on the 200 block of Crest Ave. between 9:30 and 11:05 a.m. July 1. The safe was located in an office and pried open.

Several Marine Corps medals and ribbons, along with picture frames and an alarm clock were stolen from a storage unit at 1750 Busse Rd. between midnight June 23 and 3 p.m. June 27.

A Magellan GPS unit was stolen from a 2008 Audi on the 1400 block of Circle Ct. around 4:55 a.m. July 3.

THEFTS REPORTED

Someone left Dominick's, 980 Elk Grove Town Ctr., with $326.78 worth of baby formula around 4:05 p.m. July 2. The offender fled in a small compact vehicle according to police.

DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

The rear window and front windshield were broke on a 1998 Mazda van on the 700 block of Clover Hill Ct. around 11:30 p.m. July 2.

The door handles were broken off the front right and rear passenger side doors on a 2008 Mazda 3 at 965 Charlela Lane between 10:30 p.m. June 30 and 8:30 a.m. July 1.

A section of fence was pushed down at 50 Turner Ave. between 5:45 and 7:10 p.m. June 29.

Graffiti was sprayed on the southeast side of 711 Chelmsford Lane between 9 p.m. June 28 and 2:20 p.m. June 29.

THREE ARRESTS

Elk Grove police made three arrests with charges including retail theft and driving under the influence.

Charged with DUI was Lynda S. Mack of 417 Park St., Bensenville.
