Police Blotter

The following items are from Elk Grove Police Department incident reports. The Elk Grove Journal publishes the police blotter every week.

BURGLARY REPORTED

A DVD player and alcohol were stolen from a RV and a flat screen TV damaged at 1401 Tonne Rd. between 12:30 p.m. June 27 and 12:20 p.m. June 28. The right rear passenger window was broken to gain entry. The TV had been taken from the RV, but found outside on the ground damaged.

About $200 was stolen from the cash register at a business at 1181 Biesterfield Rd between 1 a.m. and 11:20 a.m. June 27. The rear steel door had been pried open and the cash register opened.

A GPS unit, radio faceplate and several CDs were stolen from a 2002 Toyota Rav4 on the 1200 block of Old Mill Ln. around 4:25 a.m. June 29. The front passenger window was broken.

THEFTS REPORTED

Spare tires were stolen from 15 full-size cargo vans and full-size pick-up trucks at Hoskins Chevrolet, 175 N. Arlington Hts. Rd., between 9 p.m. June 24 and 6 a.m. June 25. Bow cutters were used to remove the tires.

Two big flowerpots were stolen from the entrance of Astro Machine Co., 630 Lively Blvd., between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. June 25.

DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

The rear window was broken on a 2009 Toyota Rav4 on the 500 block of Ridgewood Rd. between 2 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. June 28.

TWO ARRESTS

Elk Grove police made two arrests with charges including driving under the influence and failure to provide information to a property damage accident.

Charged with DUI was Daniel H. Davis of 1026 Liberty Dr. in Elburn, Ill.
