Police Blotter
The following items are from Elk Grove Police Department incident reports. The Elk Grove Journal publishes the police blotter every week.
DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
A landscaping brick was thrown through the driver's side window and at the windshield of a 1995 Dodge Ram Pickup on the 500 block of Germaine Pl. between 9:30 p.m. June 13 and 6 a.m. June 14.
The windshields were damaged on a Chevrolet station wagon and 1987 Chevrolet Caprice at 305 Oakton St. between 11:30 p.m. June 13 and 5:30 a.m. June 14.
BURGLARY REPORTED
A stereo was pried from the dashboard of a 1998 Ford Explorer but left on the floorboard of the vehicle on the 200 block of Greensboro Ct. The damage occurred around 2:30 a.m. June 19.
A satellite radio was stolen from a 2004 Toyota Pruis at 100 Busse Rd. between 6 a.m. June 8 and 2:15 p.m. June 9.
A Kenwood stereo and CD player was stolen from a 1990 Mercury Grand Marquis on the 600 block of Perrie Dr. between 6:32 p.m. June 13 and 8 a.m. June 14.
A Garmin GPS was stolen from a 2005 Honda Accord on Pebble Beach Circle between 11 p.m. June 14 and 7:15 a.m. June 15. The passenger side window was smashed.
A CB radio, GPS unit, XM satellite radio, AM/FM radio and a toolbox were stolen from a 2000 Volvo 660 Tractor at 1460 Devon Ave. between 11 a.m. June 12 and 9:15 a.m. June 15. The right side window was smashed.
THEFTS REPORTED
A water heater was stolen from the west side of the Super 8 Motel, 2951 Touhy Ave., between 10 a.m. May 30 and 9 a.m. June 2. The heater was waiting to be repaired.
Four chrome hubcaps were stolen from a 2003 Mercury Sable on the 900 block of Perrie Dr. between 5 a.m. June 13 and 5 a.m. June 14.
Numerous tools were stolen from a storage locker at 1033 Charlela Lane between December 2008 and June 14.
FIVE ARRESTS
Elk Grove police made three arrests last week with charges including unlawful possession of cannabis and driving under the influence.
Charged with DUI were Crystal D. Brown of 987 Charlela Lane in Elk Grove and Michael J. Cassara of 533 Corinthia Drive in Elk Grove.
