Police Blotter
The following items are from Elk Grove Police Department incident reports. The Elk Grove Journal publishes the police blotter every week.
DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Someone spray painted the overhead door at Capitol Glass Co., 910 Touhy Ave., between 9:15 p.m. June 8 and 6:15 a.m. June 9.
Someone spray painted the passenger side panel and windshield of a 2004 Mitsubishi Carryall Box work truck at Rah Record-A-Hit, 1495 Tonne Rd., between 7 a.m. June 6and 12:45 p.m. June 9.
A 2003 red Ford Mustang was scratched from the front fender, through the passenger side door, to the rear fender on the 100 block of Boardwalk between 8:30 p.m. June 8 and 6:30 a.m. June 9.
A rock or brick broke the windshield of a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt on the 300 block of Arlington Hts. Rd. between 6 p.m. June 10 and noon June 11.
Someone kicked in the passenger side door of a 2002 BMW 5ci at 500 W. Elk Grove Blvd. between 10 and 10:30 p.m. June 12.
BURGLARY REPORTED
A Garmin GPS was stolen from a 1993 Mazda MX3 at 2501 Arthur Ave. between 2 and 3:45 p.m. June 10. The driver's side window was smashed to gain entry.
A Garmin GPS was stolen from a 2007 Ford Escort at 825 Arthur Ave. between 1:15 and 5:50 p.m. June 10. The driver's side window was smashed.
THEFTS REPORTED
Three trailers, valued at a total of $24,110, were stolen from 2515 Busse Rd. between 5 p.m. March 12 and 8 a.m. March 14. The trailers included a 1998 Great Dane, a 2003 Trail Mobile and a 1997 Great Dane.
FIVE ARRESTS
Elk Grove police made five arrests last week with charges including violation of bail bond, possession of cannabis, retail theft and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
