If you are a low-to-no budget indie moviemaker, screenwriter, technical designer or actor looking for a place that isn't shrouded in red tape and self-serving intentions, the 7th Annual International Microcinema Film Festival will celebrate the ever-growing community of truly independent work created by artists with limited resources on Thursday, September 6-Sunday, September 9, Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center, 150 E. Wood Street, Palatine. Films selected for Microcinema Fest 7 are both short and feature length movies from the genres of drama, comedy, sci-fi horror, action and documentary.
