Police Seek Help In Arson Case

The Des Plaines Police Dept. and Des Plaines Crimestoppers are appealing to the public for help in solving an arson investigation at Friendship Park on the city's west side.

According to police, an unknown person recently burned the playground equipment at Friendship causing extensive damage.

Anyone with information about this crime should contact Des Plaines Crimestoppers or Detective Kulak at 847-391-5432. The Crimestoppers telephone number is 699-7867.

Persons who help police solve a crime through the Crimestoppers program may qualify for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
