In a Dive for the Diamond party, the last in a series of summer long celebrations for the Mystic Waters' 10th anniversary, a lucky winner found one of ten waterproof containers in Dolphin Bay that contained a quarter carat round cut diamond.

"It's just beautiful. We love Mystic Waters, and this was certainly an unexpected treat," said the winner, Jennifer Jacobs, a second time visitor to the waterpark with her husband and family.

Nine other people held winning ticket numbers which were called out over the PA system at 4 p.m. Inside each container weighted down with sand, was a folded paper that listed each winners' prize which included a season pass to Mystic Waters for four, free golfing at the Golf Center in Des Plaines and a gift basket of fun foods.

"We're all very happy to be celebrating the 10th anniversary of Mystic Waters, and this is a grand finale to a wonderful summer season," said John Hecker, executive director of the Des Plaines Park District.
