Booth Spaces Fill Up For April Senior Expo

The Maine Township MaineStreamers' "Swing into Spring" Senior Expo has sold out of booth space and is currently taking names for a waiting list.

Supported by Golf Mill Shopping Center, the Journal & Topics Newspapers, Senior News, Ballard Healthcare, New Lifestyles, Inc. and St. Andrew's Life Center, the successful Expo has sold out two years running. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Apr. 18, at Golf Mill in Niles. The Expo will be bursting at the seams with enthusiastic exhibitors, providing attendees with great services.

At "Swing into Spring," attendees can freely browse area business' booths and gather information at their leisure. Attendees will be able to take advantage of presentations and other information on lifestyle improvement services along with several health screenings. There will also be film and Hospice presentations, an aerobic demonstration, and a wealth of information available from a wide variety of businesses, organizations, and services of interest that are exhibiting at the Expo. Free goodie bags from MaineStreamers and dozens of exhibiting organizations and companies will be provided.

With its growing popularity, Expo organizers are expecting an even larger number of attendees than the 1,000 seniors who were at last year's inaugural event. All those involved in the event are also excited about the new venue at the Golf Mill Shopping Center. Several merchants are participating and the Kerasotes Show Place 12 Theatres will be showing "The Notebook" for a cost of $1 to attendees following the Expo's close at 2 p.m.
